I actually like it despite all of the grief is got from its reviews, but I can sum up the only thing i didn't like.
Three words: Too. Much. Zuko.
I thought the movie was pretty good actually. And what with you cch17! Zuko was the best in the whole movie! I think his character was the best and Dev Patel was the best actor (not that I think the other actors were bad just Dev was the best). I LOVE that they had more Zuko than Sokka...

Yeah! Only I'd hope that Bryke would suggest Toph be Chinese, specifically. Because the Earth Kingdom is based off of China. (I feel that if the cast has to be race-specific, it should really, truly be race specific. Not skin-color specific.)

This was a bad movie, and I don't believe continuing the trilogy will fix it.
A sequel could fix it by being a better made movie, but the first one already ruined the martial arts, the casting, and the storylines, so the other two books would have to be adapted to M. Night's new version of the story.
It would be best to abandon the movie franchise for now until it can be rebooted or left alone.
