You my friend need to watch Crossroads of Destiny.

Er, he never technically died. -stares-
He was dead, from the time Azula shot him with lightning up to the point when they were on Appa, and Katara applied the Oasis water.
the avatar spirit is re-incarnated immediately after death! so he couldnt have been fully dead! or there would be a waterbending avatar crawling around!

Actually, if he died in his avatar state, then the avatar spirit would not be reincarnated.

    This argument is quite pointless.

That may very well be. Remember his wound in the trailer...

I don't think so because Azula has always been better than him, so I think he will finally defeat her, maybe not kill her but overpower her at least, and remember this play was in the FN so of course they had Azula and the Firelord win.

Very true, but still, everyone's reaction was rather strong.

-dozes- Nnn, maybe I should go to bed too. This episode was a filler. Not much more to discuss.

That episode was such fan service!

'...and a surprisingly knowledgable cabage merchant'

Also possibly my new favourite one-liner.

"Zuko your hair has gone too far!"

It was amazing! I laughed on every joke and completely fell out on the floor when I heard:

Sokka (actor): Hey, Toph - would you say you and Aang have a "Rocky relationship"?

I loved it when Zuko said 'Is Jet dead' and Sokka replied 'I don't know they didn't make it very clear' XD

The funniest line was this one:

    Zuko: Wait, did Jet die?
Sokka: Y'know it was never made very clear.

    FANSERVICE FTW!!!

Actually, there were loads of great lines.

Kid: Nice Zuko costume, but your scar's on the wrong side.

Actress!Aang: Look! The Great Divide, the largest canyon in the Earth Kingdom!
Actor!Sokka: Meh, let's just keep flying.

    Zuko: That play was terrible.
    Aang: I know!
    Katara: Totally!
Sokka: But the effects were good.

Sokka: But it has to be over, they've shown everything until the present. Unless this is the future! *synthesiser plays*

Suki: I am a warrior who has been trained for years in the art of stealth. So yeah, I think I can help.

Actor!Sokka: Oh great, another fan with ideas.

But the best part of the episode for me was the audience. They got bored whenever the gaang were doing well, and started cheering when Azula beat Zuko and when Ozai beat Aang. Why? Because the entire play, in the end, was just Fire Nation propaganda. Nothing else to it. The 'acclaimed playwrite pu wan tin' was just part of the Fire Lord's propaganda machine.

    Still, a hilarious episode.

This episode was great. Kind of like Nightmares and Daydreams in the way that there's a humourous episode before the serious, all-actions ones.

ActorZuko's hair was brilliant XD I loved ActorIroh's "Zuko, it's time we had a talk...about your hair."

I noticed another mistake The Ember Island Players made in their roles as the characters, they used Zukos book 1 hairstyle for the first part of the play but, for part 2 they used his book 3 hair and for part 3 they used his book 2 hair. It has been switched!

Congratulations: I now have 100 posts! What's the big deal. I have alot to go.

He did trim his hair in book three. Maybe that's what they mean, but over-exaggerated?

Muahaha, hilarious pic. Lazer beam ftw.

I still say the best part was when Toph or "Tough" did his Sonic Boom. That was priceless. Ah, God, such a good episode.

it is odd seeing a play outright playing Ozai and Azula as villains and yet still win and get cheered on.

It wasn't really filler. A lot of people thought it would be, but it turned out to be much more serious than that. Aang finally admitted his love, which evoked confusion and frustration on Katara's part. We also got to see Zuko missing his uncle and regretting how he treated him. This led to the Toph/Zuko bonding scene we were all waiting for.

There really wasn't that much filler about it. They learned a lot of new things about themselves, and that's character development at its finest.

On a side note: Toph's reaction to her actor's "SONIC BOOM" was really what made me crack up. Everyone else looked all terrified, but she looked completely ecstatic. I was laughing so hard I almost cried!
