It's better to quit while you are ahead. End on a high note, rather than continue on and on and milk the original series until it's completely dead. Better to end and want more than to nuke the fridge and lose the original feel and meaning of the show.

This is just the way the creators planned it out to be.

but why, they take all that time thinking of a idea and finally when they have a success they end it after 3 years. Thats just stupid

Anime shows take 2 or 3 seasons just to warm up. Look at naruto, bleach all are around 200 episodes or more and are better then ever

all stories require a beginning, middle, and END.

    This is the end.

I disagree. DBZ dragged out so long that it became painful to watch (and I quit.) Bleach, one of my personal favorites, has its ups and downs. I believe they're drawing it out to much. That isn't to say everything that comes out of it is bad (I like the Arancar as much as anyone)m but there comes a point when some things really need to end.

I point to Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star as examples. They had 1 season each and were perfectly adequate. To continue them would taint a perfectly presented anime.

The story of Avatar was always meant to be 3 seasons long. Long before the first episode had begun the creators had decided that the show would take 3 seasons to warm up.

And you mention Naruto, DBZ and Bleach, but you forget about the truly amazing animes like Death Note and Fullmetal Alchemist, both of which had fewer episodes than Avatar and are still brilliant.

And 90% of Naruto episodes are fillers, DBZ consists of about 20 15 episode long fight scenes and Bleach just repeats itself.

True, I actually stopped watching Naruto cause of all the fillers. I'm not watching again till Cartoonnetwork starts showing Part 2, which won't be 4 like a year. Even though I'm sad Avatar is ending, it must b. I can't wait for......4 hours and 47 minutes for the finale, YAY FINALE! Boo the end of an era though! Ok, I'M GOOD!

I have only maybe watched one episode of this show (Ember Island Players) so I don't know much about it, but I'm almost certain that it isn't based on a manga. Naruto, Bleach, DBZ are all based on mangas, and not only that, but a lot of those shows were either stretched out (DBZ) or contain fillers (Naruto AND Bleach). A good story has a beginning, middle, and end without pointless filler.

This doesn't have a manga, it's not even an anime. It was made in America.

And it's good that EIP is the only episode that you saw, because it's a sumary episode!

You know, that episode reminded me a lot of the last episode of "Futurama."

Whether he WOULD kill her? I don't know, he wasn't exactly going to save her when she fell in 316, but would he kill her like that? I don't know.

I think he's willing. He didn't look to happy when she didn't fall down to her death in Southern Raiders.

Yeah, but when he said: "She's not going to make it." He sounded sorry to me.

    True.

He sounded sorry about it either way.

Yea, but he wasn't going to try to save her either Anyways if she's going to get killed I hope it's not Zuko who does it.

Bottom line...he doesn't know how he feels about her dying, but I doubt he'd kill her intentionally.
