Okay, I just got through watching it and it was amazing. However I have some complaints.

    - I hate how they didn't really show Zuko's mother at all besides the mirror part.

It's a cliffhanger, to later be resolved in a mini-series.

It would've been pretty lame if it was, seeing as though "Azul" is the Spanish word for blue. And besides that makes Ozai smart, he's conserving his energy, so he can make bigger attacks and lightning. Just look at Zuko he went toe to toe with Azula, and he didn't have to use blue fire.

Mini-series might resolve that, and it can be assumed she's in some sort of prison.

No book 4, but two mini-series.

    where's your evidence that there'll be a mini-series?

if u check back the post about a page or so theres a picture of a poster and if u click on it it shows different avatar things upcoming in the next few years and at the bottom it shows that there are to be two mini series's in spring and fall of 09

Who knows what they'll do. They could even do what they did to Pokemon, and make it about people we've never cared about and other minor characters.

If you search it in google youll get a better idea than i can give since i only learned of it a few days ago but essentially its a huge convention where theres seperates times and rooms for different anime/comics/shows where you can meet creators/writers and such and thats initially where the teaser trailers for sozins comet and the last 10 episodes was released in april at the new york one

But I still liked it. Some of these unaswered questions leave me to believe there's going to be a book 4.

half of those questions couldnt have been answered anyways, like aangs parents??? why bring it up now when it was never a topic of discussion in the show? and everything in tht episode was a OMG moment.

yeah, although the last 5 minuetes was total cliche crap, most of the episode was really well done, very creative battle scenes, alot of art, and good character development (except for katara)

Ignore the last post. The last five minutes were excellent, and Katara had some of the most character development in the show.

    - Nothing in there really amazed me me or gave me an omg moment.

    - There were so many things that werent explained like what happened to Aangs parents, etc.

The last five minutes were excellent, and Katara had some of the most character development in the show.

    what last 5 minutes?

Okay, I just got through watching it and it was amazing. However I have some complaints.

    - I hate how they didnt really show Zukos mother at all besides the mirror part.

    - I was slightly irritated that Ozai's fire was red and not blue.

    - How they didnt even show Azula afterwards.

    - They didnt tell us where Zukos mother is.

they have to...there really aren't any drawbacks to doing so. I think these guys had there whole idea planned out. Obviously these guys are smart considering that they had the whole seasons 1-3 planed out before they even started making it. Im guessing that they said that there won't be anymore avatar after season 3 at the SDCC last year so that when season 3 ended everyone would be sad and wanting MORE AVATAR. Right now there are in a perfect position...they can pretty much do anything avatar related, and people will watch it. There's no way that there won't be some type of continuation, I mean come on it's right in front of our faces. They would not have Zuko ask Ozai where his mother is without following up somehow...that's just common sense. Maybe it won't be a whole season, but what we get is what we get. So stop worrying, they have the whole thing planned out, Im pretty sure that they care about there fan base, and they wouldn't leave us hanging like that!!!

well it kinda makes sense. i mean blue fire represents her, but not the fire nation or the element.

ok so the fire lord has been defeated, balance has been restored and all is well. But what happens in x amount of years when Aang dies? If he's the last airbender, then how can there be a new avatar. Unless he has kids with Katara and one of them is a airbender, but does it work like that? Can bending be passed on with only one parent being a certain bender and the other be a different one? Or do both parents have to be the same kind of bender in order to have that type of bending kids?

If they had a kid, it could be either an airbender, a waterbender or a non-bender. Luck of the draw.
