Yea a live-action movie is being made. Well actually 3, and they'll be directed, written and produced by M. Night Shyamalan, with the co-creators of Avatar serving as co-executive producers.

    M. Night Shyamalan is a freaking crazy man. He'll most likely ruin it.

I'm reserving my judgment for when more news leaks about it.

He's had some good stuff in the past, so it might not turn out bad.

Haven't seen either, but yea I heard reviews were bad. But at least this time he's already given the story, so he won't have to make it up.

    - I was slightly irritated that Ozai's fire was red and not blue.

    - How they didnt even show Azula afterwards.

    - They didnt tell us where Zukos mother is.

    - Nothing in there really amazed me me or gave me an omg moment.

    - There were so many things that werent explained like what happened to Aangs parents, etc.

But I still liked it. Some of these unaswered questions leave me to believe there's going to be a book 4.

half of those questions couldnt have been answered anyways, like aangs parents??? why bring it up now when it was never a topic of discussion in the show? and everything in tht episode was a OMG moment.

I hope the new series keeps the same characters. But I think it could also be about the very first Avatar.

It's going to have to include the GAang, because there are still unanswered questions. Azula's fate, Zuko's mom, the avatar cycle, repopulating the airbenders, the rebuilding of the world, as well as several other questions...

I think Azula will be one big factor that can be one whole mini series just dealing with her. I think she will fight to be firelord again. Just b/c the firelord was dealt with doesn't mean the firenation is done now, there is Generals and everything like that still want to take over the world. Instead of Aang facing one person it would be an army instead. the series has not met the peak of greatness this series I think can be even more amazing if it is done the right way.

If Avatar were to become into another epic movie series like Star Wars, it would be AMAZING!!! I still want Bryke to make more seasons of Avatar... Let's just see and wait till this Friday at the San Diego Comic Con *shrugs*.

yeah, although the last 5 minuetes was total cliche crap, most of the episode was really well done, very creative battle scenes, alot of art, and good character development (except for katara)

Haha i started watching this show in 6th grade (now im going into 11th) and Me, my best friend, and a former friend used to go over eachother's house's on friday and have "avatar fridays." Lol, we'd pretend to be characters and like talk about all the episodes. Then in 7th grade i wrote a bunch on fanfics (holy crap lol) and then for a while i thought i was too cool for the show and stopped watching it (life in the fastline) then i recently watched all the episodes I missed and fell back in love.

It's a cliffhanger, to later be resolved in a mini-series.

It would've been pretty lame if it was, seeing as though "Azul" is the Spanish word for blue. And besides that makes Ozai smart, he's conserving his energy, so he can make bigger attacks and lightning. Just look at Zuko he went toe to toe with Azula, and he didn't have to use blue fire.

Mini-series might resolve that, and it can be assumed she's in some sort of prison.
