    my son has been watching Avatar and would like to know: in the episode 'The Guru' Aang has a flashback[?] to where he was firebending and hits Katara with the fire... in which episode, if any, did this occour?

    Aang does it in Season 1, episode 16(116) entitled The Deserter.

    so far, it seems unlikely, no Canadian has said *the TV commercials of YTV say "new avatar, Friday night" *

    I'm looking at my tv's desription of the episode that's coming on tonight. It's, "Katara and Sokka must help Aang fufil his destiny as avatar and save the tribe from those who wish to destroy it.

    Forget about 'Boiling Rock', when will 'Western Air Temple' be shown in the United States? Today, my birthday no less, Spongebob is shown at 8:30 East Coast, instead of ATLA!

    I have two bending questions. For one can an Earthbender control glass because it's made of sand(a from of rock)? Second, who controls lava? It's Firey, but it's melted rock. Who bends it? can both? if they were both, at the same time who would have more power over it?

    1. Who knows? It's kinda like crystal, and they can bend that. It's kinda like metal too, which is still bendable.

    2. We've only ever seen firebenders controlling lava, but it makes sense that earthbenders would too. Most likely works like mud, and whoever controls it more depends on the heat/viscosity/etc.

    after you have made a poll you can't add answers to it, you have to delete it and make a new one.
