quick question: what was that anime movie that (at least partly) inspired Mike and Bryan to create Avatar?

I think Spirited Away and Princes Mononoke helped inspire the creation of Avatar. Also, it's said that the director had everyone watch every episode of Fooly Cooly.(which is one of my most favorite animes )

go to gamespot.com, it's like tv.com except for video games, it's pretty useful!

and nales, siege of the north drew a lot of inspiration from princess mononoke. (think, evil person from industrial nation wants to becom legendary by killing a spirit, then the spirit becomes huge, coincidence?)

Doesn't the spirit in that episode even look similar to the one in Princess Mononoke? (I haven't seen either for awhile, but I remember thinking they were similar when I saw the Avatar episode).

In that episode? Which one are you talking about?

Sorry, I meant the Siege of the North one you guys were just talking about. The design of the spirit in that reminds me of the Great Forest Spirit in Mononoke

they also drew inspiration from My Neighbor Totoro...the cat bus (i can't remember what its actually called at the moment) has many legs, so they used that as a reference for Appa

i posted a rick roll, someone took it the wrong way, i got suspended, people got rick roll'd and the thread got locked, no one won. (although i still think that person deserved it for asking for links to episodes that hadn't aired anywhere)
    and there were no survivors.

Many little clues/foreshadowing. You can see an outdated one in my blog. I'll get around to making an updated version one of these days...

We don't know when the next episode will air. But 312 and 314 have already aired in Canada, and are available on the net. (Don't ask where, links are illegal. But they shouldn't be too hard to find.)

I'm looking for a way to find a animated avatar for my profile pic here. Is there a site of common animated icons that I could use?

Or is there a way to make my own? In which case, how do I do it, what program do I use, and where can I get the needed clips?

I think avrurakinninami makes a lot of his stuff. You could ask him.
