    1. The other nations have non-benders, but i dont think there are non-benders living with the nomads, why?

    2. Whats the whole purpose behind the arrow tattoos?

    3. Who are aang's parents and where are they? Aang always talks about monk kiyatzo(sp?) but parents are never mentioned...what happens to all parents of air nomads?

    For number one, first of all there was no reason to yell...i HAVE seen all the episodes so i am fully aware that they are dead and its pretty obvious by the title of the show "the LAST airbender"...so this question obviously refers to the time when all air nomads were alive

    For number 2...why dont other nations have a permanent symbol for their mastery in bending

    And number 3...so the parents just ditch their own child??thats kinda hard to believe

    1. there is only speculation on this but since the nomads are very spiritual, they all have bending powers. 2. the air nomads learned airbending from the bison so since the bison have arrows, the did it in honor of them. 3.no one really knows this answers, once again, its all speculation. welcome to the forum, everyone's kind of short tempered at the moment because of the loss of very well respected members. its a tough time in the forums. anyway if you've got any more questions, you can ask.

    oo another q!

    Air benders learn from the sky bison, fire benders from dragons, earth benders from badger moles but what about water benders??is it fish?

    no, they aren't spirits. one of each animal could have been a spirit, but we don't know what all the spirits were/are.

    I don't think the koi fish actually expressed any bending abilities themselves, only when the ocean spirit forced Aang into the Avatar State and bent through him.
