I agree with everything you've said here ET77 but I have one question for you...how has anything that you have posted thus far on this thraad promoted a positive attitude or encouraged Avatarians to step back and see this news as potentially having a silver lining?

What you just said was more moving and more soothing than anything else you've said thus far and it makes perfect sense. There is no need to add insult to injury by taunting Avatarians with 'I 'heart' Nick' comments just to be annoying or condescending. It is not at all helpful and frankly according to the TV.com TOS it's trolliing and therefore a violation of the TOS, plain and simple.

Additionally simply because you feel that Avatarians may be potentially over-indulging in their emotions doesn't mean they really are. To mean that simply because you perceive something to be real, doesn't make it real or the truth. It makes it your opinion ONLY.

You share your fan rights here EQUALLY with those who occupy this public forum with you. It's not your job to police the forum to rid it of Nick-rage. It's not my job either. That's HighLord's gig if he deems it detrimental to the forum community.

You know what? Maybe I was a little spiteful when I said that I "like Nick"(I didn't say I "heart Nick"). Maybe I am just a little tired of reading about how much everyone hates Nick, but how does that make it okay for people to attack my opinion? People with the majority opinion ("I hate Nick") get to plaster it all over the forums and everyone just nods and moves on. Yet, even if I had the most innocent intentions, saying that I like Nick would get me flamed.

Regardless, what would you have me do? Every other thread I go to, I have to read Nick bashing. Once again it's a double standard. I'm supposed to respect everyone else's wishes enough to not talk about liking Nick or at the very least anti anti-Nick, but no one else respects my wishes not to bash Nick.

You've been warned. I've asked you politely several times to leave this thread alone and the posters in it. Instead you've sucked up 3/4 of it essentially making a stance as why you have the right to tank it.

If that's what you really believe, then you haven't been reading anything I've written. So report me. TT have you read this thread from the very beginning? He definitely was only offering his opinion in these last few posts. However he was deliberately antagonizing other posters, i.e., trolling for the majority of the thread. You will best remember him for starting the 'You Guys Need A Kick in the A$$' thread where he was using the exact same tactic.

He has EVERY right to feel the way he does about Nick. I'm not arguing that in the least. But the people in this thread have an EQUAL right to their anti-Nick opinions, IF they choose to have them. Again if anyone doesn't like the thread topic, simply opt to choose another one to post in.

I agree Wise. Actually when I heard about it I wasn't really that upset to tell the truth. I genuinely laughed out loud because I thought to myself this three-year journey wouldn't be complete if Nickelodeon didn't shift the actual airdate in July around a bit in a suspenseful, albeit torturous manner. It's kind of like a reliable way for Nick to book-end the series for us. LOL

We don't know. Truthfully Nick never confirmed this either way at the NYCC.

The only thing that was said for certain is that 'July 2008' is the series finale...now whether that means straight to DVD like this last set of episodes or if it that means TSR, EIP and the four-part finale actually air on Nick is up for debate.

But they didn't say if they would pick up with WAT, FBM, BR:1 and BR:2 in July as well.

This is also partly why many who can are joining the 'Buy the DVD May 6th' campaign. With so much that is uncertain, this DVD release is one of the few things that IS certain.

The first post he made here was "I like Nick" he could be saying it for plenty of reasons it could be to show that not every Avatar fan hates Nick, it could be to troll. He then had a reply saying "If this was youtube, I would give you an unhappy thumb for that post." In fact the majority of his posts are antagozing just stating his opinion the antogising posts are noone near as horrible as some of the stuff people say on here about Nick.
