Honestly I don't know that anyone would believe the new episodes will air on Nick until it's actually happening because even when it's on the schedule, it's has not be on the schedule.

We've been down that road before...

Honestly I really wish all the remaining episodes would go straight to DVD...all of them. I wish the airdate issue was no longer a factor, ever again.

Y'know, now that I think about it, it's possible that it will air in the UK before July. Why? Lemme explain.

    Season 2.

With season 2 of Avatar, things were a little different. With season 2 they did the unthinkable and aired them on a weekly basis, a tactic almost unheard of on Nick UK. When was this? Around November 2006.

However they didn't air every episode, and after 209 they stopped showing new episodes for a long time (that's what made me join the fanbase in the first place). When they finally got around to showing new episodes, it was around April/May 2007, maybe in June, I'm not certain. When they showed them, they showed 11 episodes in the space of 5 days. 210/211 on Monday, 212/213 on Tuesday, 214/215 on Wednesday, 216/217 on Thursday and 218/219/220 on Friday.

    Season 3

As we all know, Nick UK did their normal strategy, and aired 9 episodes in the space of 5 days, around October.

The last half of season 2 and the first half of season 3 were aired during a holiday, in the UK we get 3 holidays called 'half-terms', week long breaks halfway through the trimester (as opposed to the American semester). That's when they were aired.

Maybe they will air the rest of season 3 during the next half term, which is in about 5 weeks.

    It's possible.

Oh god that would be soooo sweet! I would be over the moon with happiness for the UK to have the final episodes before July!

Nick execs need a hard, hard kick in the crotch. I really wish they'd commit to Avatar for one. If there's going to be SB special, we know three months before hand. If there's going to be an Avatar special (which we're even lucky to get one), we may know the date less than a week before, and advertises will air that day.

I mean what the hell?! Most of us either grew up with Nickelodeon or had children that grew up with it. And that was back when they seemed to care about the fans, at all! Ugh.. I can't.. comprehend what is going through their minds.

Just give us a date! Is that so hard?!

Apparently it's as hard as figuring out a 100 question Quantum Physics Test given to you by Stephen Hawking, Albert Einstein and Carl Sagan.

I know what you mean, I'm "All Grown Up" (lol, pun) but I still watch Nick because I don't want to let it go. Now it kind of feels like they want to lose their older audience because they screwed around with their best shows, just like FOX. (Invader ZIM, Danny Phantom, and now Avatar. To a lesser extent, in that some episodes remain unaired, As Told By Ginger.)

In response to your pun, I even liked "All Grown Up", but they showed new episodes 6:30 in the morning. Pretty much if the character isn't square, yellow, and somewhat mentally-retarded, Nick won't give it the time of day.

You know I've wondered about this. I never paid any attention to Nick until Avatar. I mean I watched shows when my kids were watching them and grew to like some of them.

But I've never actually called into to work or done other extreme things in the adult world to watch any other show on a Friday night, EXCEPT for Avatar...yeah I didn't even do that for the 'Friends' finale.

My point is that what if Nick does this kind of thing all of the time to kids and their shows? I mean what if they rearrange the TV schedule like for every show, it's just that we or I have never noticed it because I'm only interested in Avatar.

What if they've been this way all along but they have never ever encountered adults as steadfast viewers before and that's why they are in a totally unchartered territory with Avatar?

This may be the first time they experienced dissenters or a public outcry from fans for their schedule changes and so on...

Hey, that show requires no thought process and caters to the lower forms of humor. Of course the kiddies love him. Even though he lost the KCA this year to a certain airbender..

They mainly do it to shows with cult-following fanbases outside it's intended demo. All those shows, including Avatar, had all kinds of people watching them, but those shows' episodes have to be aired in order and stuff.
