OFFICIAL Shipping AFTER BR thread *SPOILERS!, don't enter if u haven't seen BR

now that we saw Boiling Rock, what u think of Zutara?

    I shipped Maiko before the break knowing something like this would happen. The lack of action/passion is the one thing people didn't like about Maiko (well, besides Mai not being Katara.)

    i would actually love to ship maiko at this moment but...*looks at her own username*....yeah....

    I personally didn't like it because there was no point to it! It was just like, "Ok, we're dating now, so we're going to have a bunch of random and mushy clips." When I saw them kiss for the first time, I was just kinda like "Uh...okay...where did this come from?"

    But look at it now! She's willing to risk her life for him! When she said her now-famous quote, I could nearly feel my heart grow. I was just kinda like "wow". Any ship that can do that is one that I'm definitely a part of.

    I respect Zutara, but the hug could be a quick Katara thanking Zuko for saving her dad thing. Trailers can be deceptive most of the time so all you can do is speculate for now. Sorry if I offended anyone but I am entitled to an opinion and there is no reason to have an argument like earlier.

    Dude, she gave up everything for him. Is he dumps her after that he would be the biggest ass of all time, then again he is tend to make stupid decisions.

    BR was awesome and shipriffic. If I weren't already shipping Maiko and Kataang, I would be now. Mai was just awesome and she cares so much about Zuko (lol you can tell even through the monotone!) And on another shipping note, Suki+Sokka was so cute in this episode

    I think that one of the three parts of BR that weren't let downs was Mai Maiking everyone her b*tch ("making" intentionally misspelled).

    The Zuko/Azula fight was slow and almost nothing. Suki/Ty Lee fight got about ten seconds of screen time. We still haven't seen Aang battle with fire bending in any of the episodes. Heck, there weren't even any good Katara-jabs at Zuko, other than that lame one about the tea joke.

    The other parts were Zuko's Iroh-like "wisdom" and Zuko and Sokka's discussion about girlfriends. "My first girlfriend turned into the moon."

    Since this is about relationships, I'd like to point out that, not counting part 2 of DoBS, four episodes have now passed and still no reference to the DoBS kiss. It's looking more and more like it meant nothing to Katara.

    EDIT: Forgot to answer the question.

    I like Mai a lot now, but I still want Zuko and Katara to be together.

    I am still a Kataanger for one thing.
    I still think Maiko could happen.Zuko doesn't hate Mai at all.And Mai did what she did to Azula for Zuko because she still loves him.She even said 'I love Zuko more than I am afraid of you' to Azula.
    And I am no longer shipping Tokka now that Suki is alive.I'm going back to shipping Sukka.

    I was orignally Zutara, but that was only because I really didn't want to see Aang and Katara together. Now that we have Mai, I don't really want Zuko to leave her. Basicly at this point I don't think that Zuko will be involved in Aang and Katara getting or not getting together.

    I've shipped Zutara from the start and I still am, you gotta have faith. Though i must admit this episode did kill a little of my hope.

    Anyway after Boiling Rock i love Mai and Ty lee!! I feel bad for Mai and I actually don't want Zuko to leave her, considering now we know how much she really cares about him. Maiko came out as a surprise in the beginning, there was no explanation for how they got together..all we knew is that Mai liked Zuko. Even during their relationship there seemed to be a lack of passion which is probably the reason why a lot of people disliked it, myself included.

    I see myself shipping Maiko now, but my problem is I still want Zuko with Katara and thats never going to change.

    I have to point some things out

    1- even if the series ends with no romance between zuko and katara, Zutara will exist since at 316 a good friendshipwill start, Zukaang now exists(friendship), and so does sokzuko(friendship)

    2- Zuko didn't want Mai to be wanted by the FN as a traitor, and he didn't expect that Mai would do what she did, she saved them, and now she is thought as a traitor of the FN anyway

    3- as shown by way she reached the sky-lift, Ty Lee could have easily escaped right after she paralyzed Azula, but she chose to stay with Mai(and the gaang won't know this, they will think only Mai is in trouble)

    I don't think Ty Lee and Mai will have any real interaction with the gaang until the very end (when Ozai is defeated and there is peace). I think they will help with ending the war and taking out Azula in their own way, but not actually become involved with what the gaang is doing.
