I've been thinking about the Avatar magazine over the past few days, and the one thing that I can't get off my mind is there is one picture that has Sokka, Katara, and Aang in their next new outfits with other Water Tribe Warriors behind them and thier all looking up at something... The caption says something like 'our heroes face an uncertain future' could they be looking at what causes them to not succeed (or partially) during the solar eclipse? |
OK, so it is pretty much obvious that Iroh is going to busthimself out ofFIRE NATION PRISON into HOSTILE TERRITORY where everyone knows his face (even though they don't know his new phyisique, lol) and since he and Aang had that little 'talk' on the way to rescue Zuko/Katara in Ba Sing Se (THAT IS THE Correct spelling ppl, not Sei. Se Means "not" idk what "sei" means.) we know that he is probably going to seek out Aang and become his fire-bending instructor. I just can't wait to see what the REAL Dragon of the West is capable of. I think that "the Runaway" will be the episode that Iroh escapes during. The Gaang will probably find some new poor-helpless-but-defiant-against-the-fire-lord-person that they make friends with and in-between when that happens it will show Iroh and his escape from prison and flight from the Fire capital.
The Beach is obviously going to show the "human side" of "Ozai's Angels" or whatever you want to call the 3 Fire chicks and some Zuko troubles. Of course this will also be when the Gaang meets the assasin that Zuko sent after the Avatar.
The Avatar and the Fire Lord will be similar to the episode "the Storm" and instead of finding out what happened to Aang and Zuko, we see Sozin/Roku friendship and eventual betrayal. I think that Sozin and Roku were childhood friends (They were the Fire Lord to be and Avatar respectively, but in the society of the Fire Nation, the Avatar would have been found and then raised in high society.) but Sozin probably got power hungry (think of Uchiha Sasuke's power trip jealousy about Naruto) and envious of Roku and killed Roku and started the Fire Nation invasion of the other countries. I'm guessing that during Roku's Avatar travels Sozin was raising his invasion army and when Roku came back he refused to join Sozin and was killed by Sozin when the comet came around.
All I can say is I can't wait for "the Runaway" or "the Puppetmaster", because that will be the beginning of Aang's firebending training.

according to the preview Sozin proposed Roku when they were in their mid 20s, and Roku said no, and he didn't want to hear about it when they were in their 40s, Roku saw that the FN went out and colonized EK lands, and went to Sozin, and defeated him and because of their "past friendship" allowed him to live, but with the warning that one misstep, and he would be get rid of. I think Sozin found a way to kill Roku when Roku was 58, and 12 yrs later is when Sozin did the "comet attack" with the 2 goals of getting a lot of the EK land, and getting rid of the AN people, but just before the Comet, Aang was frozen |

That's an awful lot of spirits
I think it'd be cool if Katara and Sokka's mom's killer (whew) turned up...I'd love to see how Katara and Sokka would react. Not well, would be my guess.
just a speculation about aang's firebending master, almost all of us thinks (or wants ) iroh to be aang's firebending master but my friend cites an episode way back in season 1, about a renegade fire nation general, i think it was when aang tried to firebend without learning waterbending first. he still thinks that this general will teach aang how to firebend.
but based on sokka's master, it is almost certain that iroh will become the avatar's fire master, which is of course what everyone wants (i think)
this also means that we will see much more of the white lotus society, and from what i can se it will become an important part of the story

Hey everyone hows it going.
I was recently watching the Season 2 boxset of Avatar and I think I have a theory on the season 3 outcome. I have a feeling Azula will be the main villian by the end of the season. After watching "Zuko Alone" I'm starting to think that Lord Ozai is just extremely loyal to his country.
When he was talking about taking over instead of Iroh, He never said Iroh was weak or an unfit ruler, just that his bloodline had ended which made Ozai a better choice to keep the royal family in power (i'm assuming that their bloodline had been ruling for a while). He also used the line "use me" which made it seem less like a grab at power and more at doing what was right for the Fire Nation.
I'm starting to think that by the end of season 3, we will learn that Ozai is just a loyalist to only his country and thats why he did the things he did (to Zuko and the war). I also think he will have a last minute change of heart about his ways and thats where Azula steps in. She would go crazy after hearing her father change sides and then murder him and try to succeed as the FN ruler.
I also had a cool idea for Season 4 while watching season 2. I think in Season 4 they should make it 100 years later. It would be cool to see the changes in the world and how much of an affectAang had on the world after that long. He could also have a cameo apearance as the current Avatars Airbendingmaster. The first few episodes could show him finishing his training by learning Air (We've alreadyseen Aang learn the others so no need to show them) and could be about him traveling the world going on different adventures and meeting new people as well as maybe relatives from old characters.
