Yeah and I agree with one of the posts above that Zuko's situation has been one of the draws of the show. I mean poor guy, really... breaks my heart. I have really liked him from the beginning. This is a kids show so any kinda romantic undercurrent is going to be inferred (as it has been in past episodes in diff situations) but I can't help but notice the similarites to season 1's finale... tui and la (spelling?) yin and yang... Zuko and Katara fighting. But whatever it ends up... would love for Zuko to get a little peace! Poor lad! Here is another wacky theory... I have a feeling that Aang is going to have trouble learning to firebend because he can't get in touch with his anger/controlled passion whatevah. Hmm... what better way to get in touch with the dark side than to experience unrequited love.
Plus, he has a fear with fire. He burned Katara and swore never to use firebending again after that instant. He's going to have some issues letting it out when part of him is trying to hold back so he doesn't do anymore damage.

    *claps hands*

Yes! I'm not the only one who thinks that him burning Katara that one time will interfere! *glee*

Him learning firebending's gonna be the best....

I can't help but notice this (im sure others have too and fogive me for being slow) but it strikes me funny how Katara never let herself cry in front of anyone about her mother's death (yes she's talked about it but never crying, no no, sobbing) and the one person she just lets it all out if front of is like her enemy...or whose supposed to be her enemy...so even if they don't have a relationshi, i still see a special friendship between them. If he joins the gang she's going to be the most accepting of him (ehile sokka will be restrained from killing him. lol)

Totally I think Iroh would leave Zuko to follow a more positive destiny

Iroh is tired.?? He wants to find his peace.?? As long as Zuko is on a positive path, I think he would be VERY happy to tend his tea shop.?? He wants Z to have his place.

Plus... I can't help but notice there has been not discusssion about who will voice Iroh (we miss you Mako!) in the next season....

not only will his promise to Katara of never doing firebending again interfere, his very nature I think will interfere.

Aang has always held himself back and never tried to do serious harm. The most he ever really does in battle is thrown his opponents away with airbending and defend himself with earthbending. Firebending however is all about aggression, something that is completly unlike Aang. It's an offensive art, and for Aang to become proficient with it he will have to be the one lauching attacks rather than just avoid, redirecting, or defending them.

Or maybe because Aang's well aware of how dangerous and out of control fire is, he'll be super determined to master it. He might have that cold calm that Azula has because he wouldn't let anger get in the way. It might take him awhile to firebend, but he'll have the respect to become a master.

It might not take him as long though. Remember Earthbending is his natural opposite, not Fire. So the only way I see him running into complications is because he remembered how bad it felt to hurt someone he loved and he doesn't wanna risk doing that again. He'll overcome it though.

of course he'll overcome it, the entire quest has been about him learning all 4 elements and stopping the war. So of course he will eventually learn it and weild it effectively. I'm just saying that it won't be easy and will likely take a while and have a lot of emotional complications.

Great ending, but I have my ideas as to how this will play out.

    1. About Zutara, and how it MAY happen the next episode.

It's Long Feng. he has files on everyone. He knows the Ozai angels are in, and that they are not Suki and the warriors of Kyoshi. But he knows Katara and Zuko will recognize Azula and her crew when they make their move against the Earth King. So, he takes them undergound and seals them in a crystal chamber, where their talents will do them no good. That way the girls eliminate the King, Long feng takes power with the death of the king, and the Firelord gets non-interference from Long Feng, so long as he keeps earth kingdom people brainwashed into not attacking the fire nation.

    2. And did anyone compare the charge into the castle to the scene from Jet Li's "Hero" as the few but powerful warriors made their way into the heart of the main throneroom? Even the green walls? Heck, even the alternating lead attacks from Pacino vs. De Niro bank heist in "Heat".

    3. and one more thing. TOPH kicks butt! Aang is trained and good at combat in different styles, but Toph beat those soldiers at Earth Bending, mostly on her own raw talents. (we don't know who taught Toph, or if she was self taught.) Anyways, THAT is how you storm the castle.

Wait, how would Long Feng get them down there when he's in prison? And even when he's released (cuz we all know that's gonna happen) how is he singlehandedly gonna get the pair down there?

And Toph better be rescued or I will be pissed. lol

    Right then.

I guess we're just gonna wait two weeks before we have anything real to talk about again.
