ughh i know, having julia roberts as an aunt isnt going to make people like you, i guess she just can't help being a licentious stick girl

OOOOOOOOOHHHHH! I was wondering what her "in" was.

But seriously, Eric Roberts does the voice of a great character on Danny Phantom
yea that's the only thing I can think of that he's been in, little Emma might just be the bread winner in the family lol

Yeah the only other thing that I can think of is South Park when they cannibalized him... but that wasn't him doing the voice.

Nah. The Avatar cycle has a...cycle with each nation. It's Water, Earth, Fire, Air. The next Avatar would be someone form the Water Tribe. Nice thought though.

That's what I meant. If the fire nation found Aang and put him to the ends, they'll do the same with the Water Tribe Avatar and Earth Kingdom Avatar and would try to control the Fire Nation Avatar, which would all happen to when Zuko is born.

what was the deal with the episode starting almost 15 minutes early... my dvr is set exactly 8-80 b/c it is a comcast piece of crud and of course I can't change the time because that is automatic so it HAD to have started earlier (my tivo with dtv was soooo much better)... Now I have to attempt to catch the repeat tomorrow...

Do you get the second Nick channel on Comcast? If so, you can always watch the episode again at 11...or a bit before, seeing as it aired early

Remember Ant Wu told Katara she would marry a bender. So it could be Zuko, he is a firebender.

At the moment, the only girl in his mind, is the thought to killing his evil little sister.

Perhaps, I see where you are there. But Zhao said himself that there would be no point in killing Aang, since the avatar would just be reborn again (and the next one could be more powerful). Plus, what's stopping a Fire Nation Avatar from trying to restore balance. Even if they raise him to believe that the world is right with Fire Nation ruling, the spirit's could convince him otherwise. If he does try to right the wrong, he could be a powerful enemy to the Fire Nation.

Aunt Wu said that Katara would marry a powerful bender. But then Aunt Wu didn't see any love in Aang's future when it was his turn. So if Aunt Wu is right about Katara marrying a powerful bender, she would also be right about Aang having no love. Katara can't be with Aang from that prediction paradox. Sorry Katangs shippers. This point is a double-edged sword for you.

but when you think about it- zuko isnt a power bender at all, his sister is more powerful than him- KATARA is more powerful than him.... and who cares about aunt wu's predictions??- the present can change the future, for katara's future and even aang's.. but if it really does matter--- aang is more pwerful than zuko. i mean he's practically mastered 3 out of 4 elements, zuko hasnt even mastered 1.

Two things. One, she was saying that after she admitted she lied to make him feel better. Two, it's just as well Katara can marry a weak bender (or mediocre).

But I guess this is the basic argument between Sokka and the Wu-followers. lol

Does anyone else think all hells gonna break loose when either:

    a) Katara sees Azula and her gang and awsome fight occurs

    b) When Sokka and Aang come back, and tell the Earth King that??Azula and her gang??aren't the Kyoshi warriors, and Azula is like "yea we are", and then the Earth king remembers that sokka said they were trustworthy (sokka kinda made this a little stronger than anything else) and is like "who do i believe" and everyone is like "me, me!"

This episode was bananas, so many accomplishments happened like finally telling the king about the war and the eclipse. But the episode had several cliffhangers at the end. Its clear things are starting to take a turn for the worst. After the Gaang decided to split up to take care of different matters, we discovered that Toph was captured by her teacher and that other guy(cant remember names),Zuko is going through a spiritual transformation, Long Feng still has control over the Dai Li, and Azula, Mai and Tai Lee manged to get into Ba Sing Se(and very close to the king) disguised as Kyoshi warriors. This obviously means that the Kyoshi warriors must have been defeated when they fought. And ofcourse Aang almost got to tell Katara how he feels about her but then he was interupted by Sokka. And I see some foreshadowing/irony with the whole "girls are waiting for us" thing. Aang prabably expects to tell Katara what he wanted to say next time they meet, but if the Zutara rumors come true in the finale then I think Aang is in for a surprise. Im curious to see where/how Katara and Zuko get trapped in a cave, and that whole situation seems strikingly familiar to what happened in "cave of two lovers". And I deffinately see Zuko joining the Gaang in the future. Im also pondering how the invasion of the fire nation will be like, they have established plans but there are already complications(Azula,Long Feng etc). I hope we see water tribe soldiers and earth kindom soldiers working together and storming into the fire nation (hopefully) on the eclipse. And I wonder what exactly the Guru will teach Aang about the avatar state.

My heart practically sank when I saw the two minute trailer.?? Not because I ship any specific ship, but because I knew I'd need a serious pair of boots to walk around Avatar forums for a while ::sighs::?? I really don't give to flying figs who Katara ends up with, the entire story as a whole is far more important.?? (And by the way, Aunt Wuu(Woo?) said it would be a powerful bender and no offense, but while Zuko is a great fighter as a whole, maybe it's just because Azula is THAT awesome but to me, he's not *that* powerful a bender.?? And as for Aang, I was kinda hoping they would go for the 'brotherly/sisterly' relationship--I'm sick of shows where the main two opposite sex characters always have a thing (or the main character does) for one another yet here comes some person making it a love triangle.?? Geez nick, get another cliche' already...)

Rant over, I have to say that I thought the episode, even if you could see a lot of it coming, was great as it served it's purpose: it set up the events for what would happen in the season finale. My thoughts overall:

    1. I'm 50/50 on Azula killing the warriors. Mercy isn't exactly one of Azula's strongest suits and they really had no *reason* to spare them: Azula said herself that friends of the Avatar were enemies of hers, except for a way into????BSS (via their outfits) they really didn't need any of them (only Suki should have been truely important if they wanted to go the ransom route again) and well realistically, except for maybe the girls beaten by Ty Lee, most of them *shouldn't* have survived: Mai fights with deadly weapons and Azula just doesn't give a ****.?? They could have simply bound them/captured them and stole their clothing but Azula seems smarter than that to me: why take the risk of Suki and the others possibly escaping and blowing their cover????? Not saying they couldn't have done it, but given that Mai would careless and Ty Lee just doesn't seem to have enough backbone (yet) to go against Azula and Azula doesn't seem like the type to be merciful...::sighs::

    2. You know, I was beginning to wonder if they just forgot about Toph being chased after.?? I'm surprised at Toph actually: she's practically the smart one of the group (street wise anyway) and she knew her parents better than anyone.?? She should have known that letter wasn't from 'Mother'.?? But I agree: after the Appa episodes, I really don't want this dragging on into the 3rd book.

    3. Azula and the girls actually looked nice in the warrior outfits.?? Dead giveaway at it being them but she did kinda even look like Suki except for the eyes and creepy Azula music they constantly play when she's around.?? Though even if you didn't know Ty Lee was a dead give away.?? That almost carefree look and big eyes were practically obvious when you saw the three of them.

    4. Ah Zuko.?? He needs a spin off. XD?? I swear, he's probably half the reason I watch the show.?? Though that 'sleep' line creeped me out a bit.??I'm not really sure how to take that: is??Ursa actually dead??and if so, what happened???That and Aang face thing.

    5. I forgot his name but the stupid evil Earthbending guy with the braid. (Okay, I couldn't remember how to spell it. XD )?? You don't think he might actually side with Azula later on do you??? Or *maybe* that he might have already been??? There's really no proof but he's practically got no loyality to the Earth King and he might just strike up a deal of sorts with Azula now that they have a 'common' enemy(ies).?? Doubtful but still...a thought.

    6. And back to the two second trailer: shipping aside, I'm actually interested in what that was all about.?? (But seriously: is it just me or does Katara kinda have things for guys that lost their mother to the war too? First Jet, now Zuko...::sigh:?? I honestly thought that she was trying to heal is scar (after they had a deep heart to hear that somehow became a conversation about Zuko finally choosing his own and right destiny).?? Naturally we're going to ship because it honstly *did* look like they might just kiss (Predictable) but I'm hoping against hope we avoid the entire love triangle thing.?? This show has enough drama in it as it is before it crossese the line into 'soap opera'.

Overall, I'm anticipating this Season finale more than last book's.??

The whole "Sleep...just like mother!" makes you really think. Azula is the greatest villian ever, but insane. Maybe she cough cough killed ursa cough cough or something. Sheesh, crazy crazy. I was hyperventallaiting during that wierd dragon dream. Scary.

Anyone else think Azula could be "Dragon of the East". I mean she was portrayed as a dragon, and Iroh is Dragon of the West, and she's really good. Anyone?
