Sending Long Feng to jail actually did some bad things. The gaang is seperated, Toph got captured, Azula and her possie got in and maybe some other stuff.

Oh man, I can't wait for the season Finale. Its going to feel forever... I liked the way everything just happened all of the sudden at the last 5 minutes. I will have never thought the creators will just seperate the Gang. BTW, awesome episode.

Are there ANY people interested in the whole Zuko and Katara trapped thing that aren't in it for the damned shipping? how about the pushing of Zuko to fighting on the same side as Aang(but not WITH Aang)? or the circumstances that lead up to Katara and Zuko being in the same place anyway...but man oh man I hate shipping...

Well, shipping aside, I do want to see if/how he finally converts, as predictable as it is. This whole season has been highly watched because everyone's been wonder what's going to happen to Zuko. Before every episode, that was what everyone talked about. Zuko's predicament is the #1 thing that got me to be an avid Avatar fan (I was one before, just not to the point of dying if I miss an episode by bad luck).

Man, that fight scene at the beginning of the episode rocked. Seriously, Katara looked so badass when she jumped over the moat and owned ten people in two seconds. Aang and Toph where also pretty sweet. It was defiantly one of my favorite fight scenes in the show

Besides the one action sequence and the last five minutes of the show, it was an ok episode. It served its purpose of getting everyone hyped up for the awesome that the season finale will be. But as a stand alone episode it wasn???t that great. Man, I???m so excited for the next episode, I can???t wait!

The trailer for the next episode is further proof that Zuko is turning into an Aang clone.

But what got everybody fired up was the thought of what is going to happen to the group. 2 more weeks.

Every episode we see it grow little by little, which makes me to be loving the natural hair Zuko even more. -cough- Smexy eye candy is the definition of Zuko -cough- Anyway back to the discussion... As SOON as the Earth King said THREE Kyoshi warriors, my heart sank. Suki HAD to have died. Last time I checked she was with five other warriors. I KNEW it had to be Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee. Azula's not one to keep hostages after they've done their contrabution. Suki and two other warriors running injured around the woods nude doesn't seem Mai-like either. Of course I could imagine Ty Lee's pink outfit splattered in bloodm looking down at the corpses whispering "Who pretty again? That's right, we are." Yes cause somehow I see her right past her cheery, vain jealousy and straight into her sadistic ways...it's the writer's gift and her curse. I just felt like throwing a shoe at The BoomerAang Squad for not making the connection as soon as I did but, then realized that they thought she must have come with two girls for some strange reason.

Also I wished to do the throwing of the slipper at Sokka, (even though I don't ship this pairring I would like to see Kataras reaction) when he prevented Aang from confessing to Katara!

Poor Toph, she though she was finally gain her mother acceptance when it was just another dirty trick...

Zuko...HAHAHA Aang tranformation! Hmm... sleep just as mother did? Had the child Azula been THAT sadistic? Or did she just witness 'mother' ''sleeping''?

    LET THE COUNT DOWN BEGIN!

Anyway.?? How about the begining when the rocks were being hurled through the air??? Aang just stuck out his arm and BOOM.?? That was pretty sweet!?? I loved that fight sequence.?? I was watching the show and when the commercial came on I started making a lot of noise (To which my roommate and her boyfriend sacastically asked if I was enjoying my show)

    NOOOOO! Suki is NOT dead!

    *bawls*

Sokka's losing all his women, isn't he?

    Seriously though, I like Zuko's hair. It's......*drools*

    Enough said.

Standard setup episode. Good, not really that mindblowing (I watch Veronica Mars, that mindblows you). \

Massive foreshadow. You know what's going to happen, but it's still really damn good.

Well I think?? the Zuko/Katara thing (friends or romance) it is the perfect energy pairing from a taoist perspective... yin= water/ yang= fire. Doesn't have to be some sort of sappy dorky ship thing... but more like the harmonic balance ? I like that idea.

    Yeah. Pretty cool.

Not getting my hopes up too high though...well, I like both, so i'll be okay either way.

I agree with that. From the beginning, Katara was the one member of the gang??that despised Zuko the most. I am not surprised they have a romantic moment. Weather it is a one time thing, or not.

Personally I hope it is a one time thing, at least till the Fire Lord is defeated. We don't need any conflict, everyone stay on the same page, and teach the Avatar all the bending skills to beat the Fire Lord. Assuming Zuko becomes Aang's firebending teacher.

Which I think he will. I know I know, he's not a master, iroh's more experienced, yada yada yada. But Iroh's....old. Not old enough where he's a defenseless cripple but old enough not to be up to teaching the Avatar firebending. he might offer guidance to Zuko as he teaches Aang, but that's probably it.

Plus, I care what no one says, Zuko's become quite kick ass at Firebending. Not like a prodigy. But not everyone is one. He'd be a good teacher (minus the fact that his patience level is microscopic)

Yeah and I agree with one of the posts above that Zuko's situation has been one of the draws of the show. I mean poor guy, really... breaks my heart. I have really liked him from the beginning. This is a kids show so any kinda romantic undercurrent is going to be inferred (as it has been in past episodes in diff situations) but I can't help but notice the similarites to season 1's finale... tui and la (spelling?) yin and yang... Zuko and Katara fighting. But whatever it ends up... would love for Zuko to get a little peace! Poor lad! Here is another wacky theory... I have a feeling that Aang is going to have trouble learning to firebend because he can't get in touch with his anger/controlled passion whatevah. Hmm... what better way to get in touch with the dark side than to experience unrequited love.

At anyrate... don't mean this to be a a ship discussion... but Aang and Katara... they aren't drawn to be together... height/maturity issues? Just based on subtle clues I have always put Toph and Aang and K and Z as compliments. But really I think it all comes down to the underlying allegory that runs through all the characters/storylines... which is basically about acknowledging reality/coming to tems with the present, healing, flexibility based on the present and constraint...and then balance/authenticity. Very taoist indeed!

We were teased that Aang's Waterbending and Earthbending teacher would be an old person. But both times ended up being a kid around Aang's age. So Zuko's fits more into that equation. The reason being, they need young blood to travel with the gang, not an old man slowing them down. Besides Iroh has found happiness in his tea shop. Zuko has lots of things to prove.

You think that Zuko's gonna go with them and Iroh's gonna stay behind?!

I dont think Iroh would let the one person he cares so much about go on with them without him, do you?

Plus, he has a fear with fire. He burned Katara and swore never to use firebending again after that instant. He's going to have some issues letting it out when part of him is trying to hold back so he doesn't do anymore damage.
