Well, that's one loose end finally tied up. And so we say goodbye to the least popular of the characters.
Nickelodeon (ended 2008)

You know spoke, that guy on star trek that would always pour hot coffee on the control panels and cause the ship to go out of control? They were so ticked off at him they launch him out of a photon torpedo tube. |

Looking back on this, it's intresting how some people were speculating that the Earth King would be this super-powerful earthbender, or a brainwashed puppet, or the Guru, or nonexistaint. He turned out to be none of these things, of course. |

That's because people always jump to conclusions on how the writers would play out a certain situation, for instance people I know said it would suck when they showed Jet after the brain washing because they assumed he would turn out like Joo Dee. Speaking of which, what are they going to do with all the woman who now think that they are Joo Dee??? I??can't help but feel sorry for them, even if they are creepy.
I am Joo Dee, welcome to Ba Sing Se
What an awesome episode! I have to thank youtube and the ppl who upload those eps since i work on fridays and couldn't watch it on time.
Although some things were a bit predictable such as the earth king being a puppet, the kioshi warriors being azula and her two henchmen, and toph's mother turning out to be the two men hired by her parents it still was a great episode. I love the fight scenes when the whole gang was beating up all the earth guards to see the king. All of their bending powers (and sokka's comic relief) was great to see. I wanted to hit sokka over the head for interrupting aang's confession to katara. Sokka you idiot! But i do wonder how Katara would have reacted to aang's confession. It was sweet how all of them hugged before seperating and saying goodbye. aww. The calm before the storm i guess.
It freaked me out a bit when zuko dreamt that he had the avatar's face when he looked in the mirror, funny too. Here was sweet adorable aang's face on zuko's adolescent toned body, lol. Anyway, hope zuko will be able to finish his whole metamorphoses in time to help katara and the earth king out against his sister and those two girls. Which i think a lot of us are predicting in future episodes.
I do hope that Suki isn't dead. Plus, does anyone know if Jet it dead? I mean a lot of us, including me, were lead to believe that he died in the previous episode.

I JUST finished watching the episode on Youtube. WOW the ending.omgosh whoaaaaa
That was a great episode (although the Zuko fanservice cracks me up)
I was really suprised when he woke up as Aang, first time I every thought of him being relieved that he had his scar. That was interesting. So sweet of??Iroh to take care of him.
A really strong episode. It just had so many good points. At first I thought it was getting way to ansgty but then as soon as they entered the palace it was hilarious. haha Sokka as "useless". hmmm
overall episodes like this is why I watch Avatar. It was great. =]
I felt so bad for Toph at the end. In hindsight it was obvious that her mom wouldn't be the one waiting for her but at that time I was too caught up in the episode. =(( She sounded so hopeful. "Is anyone home??" How many times I've said that. Poor Toph! She really thought her parents finally accepted her.
*shiver* and what about the fate of Suki&gang and Jet&gang?
The next episode is going to be packed. The poor Earth king too! The poor guy wasn't too horribly brainwashed=weak or evil that I can't help but feel attachment for the sheltered king. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the horror. Azula is way too sharp. Thats a great plan to infultrate the city. (hmm I just realised this makes Iroh, Zukko and Azula the only royal fire benders to enter the city) Purre evvvilll~ I love/hate the way she said the ending. so creepy!
I've got to hand it to all the VAs. They really do a great job.
*Ahhhhhhhh the cliffhangers are killing me!!*
lol. =]

Someone on another thread said something about Sokka having finally lost his sarcasim and putting on a positive attitude. If anything bad happens to Sukki....
XD ??I love how so many other ppl had the same reaction. "OMGSOH WOW TAHTS EPSIDOEA WAS SO GREAT CAN'T TALK NOW!!"
*shiver at the Zutara preview* =0 Zuko's scar is part of his character!! it would be wrong to take it away. He's already cut his hair.... well... if I think more about it I guess its okay. =]
and good point about next week being Thanksgiving so we'll all be commuting and missing the episode. XD Now I can wait patiently *sage nod*
I'm off to the spoilers thread. ;D
