There's nothing in the spoilers thread. Just a bunch of people speculating. It's like watching scientists create nothing and arguing about who does it best.

If the council of five is loyal to the Earth King, why doesn't someone just ASK them why the war is going on, or why don't they tell the earth king about it? I find this really weird, and hard to explain.

As for the counsel of five, I can only assume that either a) they never learned of the war either, or B) Long Feng acted as the laison between them and the Earth King, and as a aresult they never actually met.

The reason the Council 5 is unable to tell the king is because?? Long Feng is more connected to the king?? and the Dai Li keep blocking them from obtaining an audiance to him so basicly the military isn't allowed near the king.

hmm after watching this and not having an internet, I have a lot of things to say about this episode.

Awesome! Incredible, breathtaking, and a cliffhanger! I don't want to wait for the next episode!

First of all the episode was five or ten minutes earlier than the supposed time and that ticked me off because I missed a part of it, therefore having to wait again to watch it in full. They shouldn't do that.

Last few minutes, or maybe seconds shocked me. The separation made me sad; then the 'Kyoshi Warriors'? We finally found out who really won between those two gang. It made me wonder though, why only three? I thought maybe two of them didn't make it--one of them maybe Suki. I really thought they were going to say, "Suki's been captured," or something of that sort, like dead. However, when I didn't see brown hair (cuz I didn't see Ty Lee) I knew something was definately wrong. LoL Azula in make up...

Poor Sokka; no Suki waiting for him...

Also Toph getting captured sunk in when the house was empty. At first I thought, Poppy didn't know about the bounty hunters or her husband's deal with them.

The preview for the season finale blew me away, that my adrenaline went way up that I couldn't stop screaming and talking. My friend was probably thinking I went insane.

Though is this Zuko and Katara thing going to lead it into a relationship? Or is this misleading? Is this something to give Zutara fans false hope? And this losing their mother thing, a common ground that could lead somewhere?

(I also have more questions, but this is not the right thread...)

I really did enjoy this episode, but I felt that it was completely unrealisticc in some points.

The palace break-in was AWESOME!?? my favorite part was either Katara's bridge leap/pose, or Aang, the serious Earthbender.?? Either way, that sequence certainly rocked (pun lol)

Why is Long Feng so intent on keeping the war away from the king(was anyway). The only thing I can think of is that he is in league with the Fire Nation. But yay I was right about the two bounty hunters!!!
