    loved this episode, the fight scene at the beginning was great. and was??i the only one??glad that the gang split up? i mean i like them together but i just want to see how they'll handle themselves alone, but i hope they arent apart for too long. and the preveiw for the next one was great(i'm a big zutara fan) but they didnt show you much.

    Yeah, thank for reminding me, when I saw that in the cartoon I was like "aaaaaah what am I seeing here?" I'm glad I was not the only one.

    Yep, it was the TurboNick summary. I wish we got to see Aang at 17... odds are he will look more like Zuko than he wants

    OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    That was by far the best episode out of the entire series.?? Some may not agree with me but it had the most plot development I have ever seen.?? It leaves you with a ton of questions made the characters even more important.

    Where do I begin....
    Their run on the palace was outstanding.?? Did everyone see how Aang was using Air, Water, and Earth.?? Man that was TOTALLY AWESOME!

    Long Feng was really stupid with his excuses.?? "There is quite a simple solution for a big drill in the wall my king.?? It is a construction project.?? Sure it has a fire nation insignia on it but that is because our domestic machinery sucks."??
    If I was the king I would have flat out said to him, "Long Feng, let me get this straight.?? You went and got a fire nation machine to drill a hole into our ROCK wall for construction that could have been done by our earthbenders??? Wow.?? If that is not the most idiotic excuse I have ever heard then I don't know what is.?? Soldiers!?? Take him into custody and round up the Dai Lee for a public sentencing.

    Sokka is done in my book.?? He needs to be fired out of a cannon for interupting Aang.

    I was totally shocked by Zuko's dream.?? When he washed his face to see no scar and an arrow on his head I just about fell out of my chair.?? Then he woke up and my shock went away.?? (This all happened because Iroh said that he was changing into the beautiful prince that he was meant to be and that is the reason for my shock.)?? I am looking forward to his recovery and what happens to him for his future.

    I hope that Suki did not die.?? Azula is one smart little girl.?? Think about how far she has made it.?? She made it further than Iroh!?? I hope she is taken down though for the Season Finale.

    I hope Katara is going to help Zuko find his way but not fall for him.?? Aang needs her to repopulate the Airbenders.

    Toph is going to get home and probably kick her parent's butt.?? I would just Earthbend them an early grave!?? Oh well.?? We'll see what happens.

    Over all this episode was great and I hope the next two are even greater.?? Is it fully confirmed that they are putting them back to back on the 1st?

    at this point they were better off with long feng (sorry for the spelling) controlling everyone because then toph would have never been captured azula wouldn't be in the city and the gang wouldn't have been split up.

    and i hope to god suki is not dead

    Meh, I still don't like her. She's just an annoying character. I absolutely LOVE the waterbending moves and the water tribes but she just annoys the living sh*t out of me. She might as well be the main character mary sue, and actually seeing her do all these moves after she sucked in the beginning of the show is actually a disapointment (although, absolutely necesary because Aang needs a waterbending master.)

    One day I'm going to youtube an episode of Avatar with Lana Lang (Smallville) whining over Katara's animation. Did Katara's animation at the beginning of The Earth King bother anyone else? Sokka's talking to her and she's glaring at him and yelling the entire time. It was just a perfect capture of the way I see Katara.

    Katara: [INDIGNANT RETORT, INSULT]
    Aang: [Bipolar pleasantness followed by LIMITLESS RAAAAGE!]

    Please do the clip of Lana Lang!?? I don't know about you but she is the most annoying character on Smallville.?? I wish they would just kill her character off.
    As for Katara, I like her over the little girls of Kyoshi island.?? (Not the warrioirs but the ones that chased Aang around.)

    for those that don't understand the dream, i'll break it down for you. ?? I know it might be troublesome for some, since anything prophetic is almost by definition obscure,?? but don't worry, I'm gifted, although I can't tell you how.

    The dream seemed to me to confirm many things I have thought about the way the show would go from almost the beginning, although it was mere speculation at that time.???? But more and more it seems it is all coming to pass, and the dream shows it even more:

    .5 (add in ) The show blurb for 218 said that Zuko's dreams would hold hints of the future.
    1.?? Following that, Zuko will be Firelord someday.
    2.?? Aunt Wu said Katara would marry a powerful bender, and the Firelord is certainly powerful.
    3.?? It's been strongly hinted that Katara will heal Zuko's scar in the next episode/s.
    4.?? The next Avatar will be a waterbender (water, earth, fire, air)

    From these hints, I deduce that Katara and Zuko will indeed end up together, and their child will be the next Avatar (hint from the arrow-headed Zuko in his dream.)???? How can he be the new avatar if Aang is still alive, you ask??? Answer:?? Aang will die in Season 3.

    Bleh, can't edit, so sorry for the double post. I forgot to mention that obviously, if the series continues after Book 3 (here's hoping,) the Zutara-lovechild Avatar will be evil, and since the world will be in balance with the threat of the Fire Nation's agression removed, the show's focus will be on killing this Dark Avatar in the Avatar State, thus ending the cycle that created him.

    All this from one fevered dream!

    Good possibility but not likely.?? If Aang dies then so does the Airbenders.?? That cannot happen in order for the balance to be restored.?? Katara will marry Aang because he is the most powerful bender!?? They will together repopulate the airbenders.?? Keep this in mind that the writers will not destroy an entire nation.?? Why do you think the show is called the Last Air Bender??? Because Aang is not only the hope for the world but for his nation.

    well... the airbenders are already dead, man. It would take a lot of work on Aang's part to repopulate their entire nation.

    Also note that it's called the LAST airbender. As in, Aang is the last one. There won't be any more, ever, because it's over, man!!

    Also, Masterofaeons, that was a really funny thing, with you saying Katara was hugging Appa's butt, but I think that was one of the legs in the back.
