Oh, and as a random post, as this is my 300th, I will post some screen shots I did like! XD

    http://www.firebender.com/e2/images/396.jpg
(Katara close-up before torch goes out)
Katara's eyes look feline there... I loved this part (not the "kiss")

    http://www.firebender.com/e2/images/6.jpg
    (Beginning, Sokka on leaf)
Gotta love semi-naked Sokka and sleeping Momo! XD

    http://www.firebender.com/e2/images/14.jpg
    (Katara adjusting Aang)
Interesting capture... Katara's eyes look almost seductive if you look at them, even though it's unintentional.
    Love the water/sweat drop effect!

    http://www.firebender.com/e2/images/29.jpg
    (Aang dancing like octopus)
Ummmm... Let's sing an octopus song! XD

    http://www.firebender.com/e2/images/50.jpg
    (Sokka staring at the nomads)
Sokka in a loin cloth! And I think something's wrong with Katara's legs, they look skinny or something. O.o

    http://www.firebender.com/e2/images/58.jpg
    (Fugitive Zuko)
    His hair... like... dude.

    http://www.firebender.com/e2/images/75.jpg
    (Katara's hair being braided)
Now.. I would love flowers braided into my hair like that... it's just like, too short.

    http://www.firebender.com/e2/images/102.jpg
    (Aang with flowers)
Something is a bit amiss with Aang's head.. it's like, short. Otherwise, great pic. Almost Natsuki Takayaish. (Fruits Basket)

    http://www.firebender.com/e2/images/120.jpg
(Iroh rubbing himself with "blindness berries")
We're not taking any more chances! Good save...

And now I'll shut up. xD

Those are some good pics and congrats on your 300th post.

I watch it for the storylines and the action but a little romance never hurts.

Me, too. It's not like the love part is overly sappy, either. It's nice and subtle.

My sister and her friend were watching it while I was on the
computer (The TV and PC are in the same room) and I kept looking over to see what was going on and the ending just shook me to my core.

I fainted three times during this ep. When Katara suggested they kissed, when they kissed (look at their shadows when it's dark) and when Omashu got captured. Luckily, I taped it so I didn't miss much that I can't see again ^_^

Okay, here's my opinion on the new eppie. I would have posted sooner, but I watched it at my friends house and thus had no access to the computer for the rest of the night, and once I got home, I had to read the whole thread to see what everyone else thought.

Okay... 'Twas an okay episode. I really don't think that it's totally up to scratch plotline wise with the other episodes, but the comedy and that animation (I particularly enjoyed the chinese art style clip during the telling of the story of Oma and Shu) made up for some of the things that really bothered me.

Actually, it wasn't really the lovey-ness of the whole show that got to me... (All the of the insane shipping wars that have been going on with the majority of the fandom reminded once again to NEVER start shipping couples; for my own physical saftey 0.0; *no offense meant to anyone whatsoever*) it was those HIPPIES. Yeah, the hippies. Yes, they made me laugh alot, especially the conflict between them and Sokka. But the thing was, they just seemed SO out of place in the world of avatar... (I mean, come on, that one guy was doing AIR GUITAR.) If they had made the hippies mesh a LITTLE more with the whole Avatar plotline, I would have really liked the ep.

On the other hand... OMG. We have to wait TWO WHOLE WEEKS to get deeper into the Omashu plot! As soon as I saw that ending, I literally screamed out "Bumi!!! NO!!!!" (and scared the heck out of my friends.) I had a feeling, WAY before the TRAILER for "The Avatar State" aired, that something would end up happening to Omashu. I guess the creators thought that it's remaining in the plotline would have made things too easy for Aang and co., and kind of chop up the conflict of the main plotline. I'm just hoping that everyone's favorite crazy king is okay TT_TT (Though deep down I know that he most likely isn't)

One last note? I REALLY want to draw a wolf-bat now

If it's an illegal download, don't bother saying it here. They don't like that. And i don't think it's on itunes yet

    - I'm in the vastly outnumbered minority here, but I hated the "hippies" in this episode. First of all, I didn't find them funny, just ridiculous and cheap. Second, they had no place in the storyline except to annoy Sokka (which has gotten monotonously unfair by now). This just was not the episode for this humor. Make your comedic episodes. Make your dramatic episodes. Don't mix them. That's my IMO.

    - WOW! Ever since the preview, 50% of fans were appalled at the idea of a kiss, screaming it was too soon, but 50% were thrilled at the idea, screaming it's about time. If I were a writer (which I am, just not for ATLA), I would have relinquished myself to the sad fact that you can't please everybody; if you try, you'll please nobody, like a politician. So what do they do? They find a set up that pleases everybody! I have never seen the pivotal kiss scene done like this before. I'm beyond impressed.

    - loved Sokka's behavior and lines and the scene when Aang totally chokes at the prospect of kissing Katara
    - Zuko's story absolutely blew me away. I always loved the idea of Zutara, definitely better than Kataang, but it *never* existed in the canon, and whether or not Aang and Katara kissed, Zutara has officially been killed and buried with that scene. So why not embrace the thought of ZukoxOC? You can't deny it would be good for him and that he deserves it.
    - The symmetry in this episode and others makes me think Song could appear again. Her interaction with Zuko and her situation reminds me of Katara in Episodes 1 & 2, a peasant girl who's lost her father to the war and is just trying to survive under the radar as long as possible when the arrival of a boy with an identity he keeps hidden from her shakes her world up. There's always been closure between the main characters and one shot characters like Haru, Jet, and Suki; there was no closure here, but a cliffhanger if anything. Except for Jun, Zuko has tended to come across recurring characters first like Zhao and Azula, while Aang and the gang come across myriads of one shot characters. Even how little we know about her is clue she'll be back; we don't learn the important stuff about recurring characters (Zhao, Zuko, and Iroh) until they've been around awhile, but we learn everything need to know about one shot characters in their episode.
    - Zuko's final act was pretty low and dirty, but it confirms my theory that the writers are trying to make Zuko less popular. Too late.
    - Next to the Agni Kai in "The Storm," my favorite scene in ATLA is now the scene on the porch between Zuko and Song. It's probably the first time anyone's confronted Zuko with what the Fire nation has done to him. Song's scar was the clincher for me that this isn't over. I'm probably in the minority again, but I'm hooked on this ship.

I think he liked her too, but she reminded him too much of himself that brought him some pain emotionally. That's probably why he stole from her...
well ya I wonder if Song will return he actually had someone care for him besides his uncle
