    Alright. I have to agree--they definitely did kiss. But the lights went out to draw away from the emotion that will be shown if they kiss at the end of the series, or whenever. It's to keep us interested! Some people might stop once they actually see Aang and Katara kiss. (Hmm...who might that be around here? I've never seen people like that...)
    Zuko and Katara? Ecch. Let's not go there. If it's going to be cliched, let it be justbetween Aang and Katara instead of "Oh! Who am I to choose? I love the hero and his rival!"
    Plus the addition of that earthbending girl. I think Zuko is interested in her, no matter how he masks it. She might play a role later.

    And one question. Why did we start the ep. discussion before the ep. aired? We got approximately 25 pages of absolute speculation and fanshipping ravings. Why not just start after the ep., so we can just talk about that?

    So. Aang and Katara. We all know it is the most likely couple by the end. Zuko is a good guy, deep down. But he's most likely to sacrifice himself for his ideals. And a traitor to the fire nation. I doubt they would let him live if they see him. Even if Aang saves the world. It might be pretty dangerous for Zuko.

    I haven't watched it yet and I think it sucks already...I'm an Avatar fan but I didn't think the creators would go this obvious and corny. Not that I hate corny stories, I actually cried over one *cough* anyway the idea is horrible. The side-stories aren't very nice anymore...at least the side-stories in season 1 isn't that terrible and some were great also (I have to say, "Jet" was a great side-story)

    This could be good (or bad for anti-Aang x Katara like me) or better. What if they find their relationship disturbing? What if Katara grows a relationship with Zuko along the story? Hey people, it's only the second episode of season 2! A lot can happen and I say it would be better. They could decide to stay just friends or...some affair...ahahah *evil snickers*

    I think that Zuko realy liked Show (AKA the earth kingdom girl) but didn't want to show his emotions to her you know he has problems with emotion anyways I want SHow to come back hopefully she will I liked how she was so nce to Zuko

    I think he liked her too, but she reminded him too much of himself that brought him some pain emotionally. That's probably why he stole from her...

    I don't think they did kiss. I saw the episode twice, because I get both East and West, and they closed their eyes JUST before the lights come on. I think they realized they came on just before they kissed, other wise Katara wouldn't have been all amazed at the lights, and a bit more "shyish" about kissing Aang.

    wow!!!this one was mazing do to that aang and katara kiss but what was really annoying was that they black out the whole thing so you cant see it,but what ev cant wait till the next episode

    They get closer as the light goes out, and the light goes out just as their eyes close, and right after that, the lights come on. They didn't need to kiss in the first place, because love is "brightest in the dark." They were focusing on "love is brightest" in the dark.
