Official Episode Discussion: The Cave of Two Lovers

    A potential love interest for Zuko. Aang & Katara kissed, (you will not convince me they didn't. And honey, don't let the denial last too long) their relationship is developing into something more. I was ticked my friend cancelled our plans for V for Vendetta (I'm going tomorrow), but this makes up for it a HUNDRED-fold.

    And I fear for Song. Oh poor child, Jun was bashed ruthlessly when people were only SUSPECTING was going to happen. The Zuko/Katara shippers will be raving and be in misery, the episode aired two hours ago and already I can see the emo-wave. The atomic bombs of Avatar fandom have been dropped! War and senseless fighting are ensured, hearts have been crushed!

    I couldn't be happier!

    There is hope for Zutara fans yet, however: if Zuko joins Aang and Co., he could still fall for Katara...though I doubt it after this episode .

    Why, you ask?

    OK, here's why... one of the Chinese symbols (pair of symbols) that Katara read in the cave is the same as one of the ones on Zuko's knife (second pair down):

    It was the symbol for "enemies".

    This was when Katara was reading the story of Oma-shu.

    By the way, the symbol on the bottom left (the one that looks like a P), when by itself, is "corpse." However, I don't know if it means something similar when paired with that other character.

    I was so completely pissed when the torch went out JUST as Katara and Aang kissed. OMG!! I'm going to hurt somebody!!!

    This was the best episode ever as far as I'm concerned.(Although I might change my mind once another new episode airs)The best part was when Song showed a possible love interest for Zuko.Although for the moment it is still highly possible for Zutara.

    This might make me sound crazy but, I reaaly see Song coming back in a future episode. Say what you want about my theory because I really see it happening.(I'M A DREAMER)

    I don't think they kissed, as much as I wanted it to...
    They almost did, but since the lights came on, they decided, "Oh well!". Although the blushing at the end was because of the mere thought of it being that close.

    Oh lawdy, here's yet another possible pairing for shippers to go all crazy about. *sigh*

    No offense to anyone out there, it's just that all the shipping is not really my thing. Although I guess I was more Zutara in my heart than I thought, 'cause I breathed a sigh of relief when Zuko grabbed Song's hand so she couldn't touch his face.

    All the time Zuko and Iroh were hanging out in the Earth willage I was afraid they were going to firebend or somehow blow their cover, and have their new friends stare at them in shocked horror and disbelief. Would Song still like Zuko if she found out who he was? There is good dramatic potential there. I hope she comes back (but sort of doubt it at the sime time).
