A lot of people said they almost cried at the end of Iroh's tale, but I cried like a baby. I mean, I had just watched earlier in the week the interview with Terri Irwin (if you don't know who she is, look her up, anyway...) and it was just a stroke of ironic brilliance that the writers chose that scene to pay tribute to Mako. It still hurts to think about it.

I thoroughly enjoyed Sokka's tale. He's an amazing guy, that Sokka! We keep seeing new sides to him. The boy loves poetry, and can turn a phrase himself.

Anyone else notice that just before Zuko lit all those lamps, he seemed to be praying? not to be witnessed, not to miss any lamps?

By the way, I understand that George is the Sokka/Suki ship, but where did "george" come from?

He wasn't praying, he was preparing himself. A quick form of meditation, preparing mind and body for the quick-shot Firebending he was about to do. After all, imagine if he missed one. It would be bad.

By all means, I agree it was some impressively precise bending. Zuko is getting better, and I think no other firebender has been shown to be that precise. Not that they can't be. I've just never seen any of the benders prepare in that particular way before; it looked a lot like praying.

George came from Pharmocopoeia (gosh, I hope I spelled that right), a user here on TV.com. It started off as a joke, but it eventually spread and caught on with everyone here. Although I don't remember the EXACT lines that got it started, it was pretty random...

I really liked this episode. I thoght that it would be a normal old filler, but I thought it was really sweet. The Katara/Toph story was okay, I liked how it showed another side to Toph, the less confident side. Iroh's story was so sad, I loved it. He helped out all of those people, but he felt that he didn't help out his son in time. He even sang that song that he sung to his son to that little boy. It was also sweet how it was on honor of Mako. It made my eyes water. The Aang story was okay, the earth bending was awesome. Sokka's story was rally funny; I liked how he searved that teacher, but then get thrown out for doing 6 sylables. Zuko's story showed a different sweeter side to Zuko that made me happy. He's not exactly a ladies' man (well, on the show ), but we got to see some of old, not so emotionally scarred Zuko, but he was still held back from kissing Jin kinda because he was still not totally ready to let go of that emotional baggage (dang, I reviewed that story more than the others ). Momo's was nice because it showed how much Momo missed Appa.

WOW!!! YOU HAVE A PICTURE OF IT!?!?! Can I get it? That's so cool. I always feel a bit of pride when someone explains where George came from... touching.

Can't believe that George thing was asked again how many times??do??I to say it? Ah who am I kiddin there's over 300 active guys here now. But anyway in??regards to Sokka (found another cliche the show has been using but doesn't need)??why do they always have to make the barely pubescent guy a??nympho. I mean the guy's not old enough to drive but he's still all over the place (nonsexual of course).??To??put it simply,??I'm just tired of every show making the 14-15 guy??somewhat of a loser who still feels the need to hit on every girl he sees. Plus for this show, he had Yue and Suki still around and yet, ah well I guess they just want to keep his options or whatever. Can't believe you had that picture.

This was one of my favorite episodes, omg!

    Aang's Tale:
Meh, it was kinda boring, compared to the rest of them--I was actually surprised.?? It was funny watching the animals attack and all but...::hunches:: Meh.

    Katara and Toph's Tale:
Even though the issue was cliche', it was done perfectly.?? I loved seeing Sokka with facial hair at the beginning, and Toph looked great with wild hair.?? I honestly thought both girls looked nice with make-up (the only thing that made Toph look 'odd' was the outfit didn't with go with looking dolled up) and I was so happy to see them give those snotty Earth Benders what they deserved.??

    Sokka:
LMAO.?? I love Sokka so much.?? I love when the comdey relief is actually funny...

    Zuko's Tale:
As much as I hate being a fangirl of anything, I was practically bouncing up and down and squealing when he got kissed.?? This was definately one of my favorite tales: it was so sweet, watching someone like Zuko trying to react to a girl.?? (Anybody else think this was his first date like, ever?)?? And I loved that he lit up the laterns just to make her happy, the gesture was so sweet, given how Zuko's so heck bent on not using any of his fire bending.??And this kiss--he totally went for a longer??one then stopped and??I was like "Lay it on her!!" ::sighs::????And he admitted he had a nice time--so cute.??I wonder if they're going to keep this Earth Bender girl around??? (And if so, I wonder how, is it Mia?, is gonna take it...)

    Iroh's Tale:
OMG, I love this character so much.?? This is the third time I've cried when he's on my tv: the first was when Azula hurt him, the second was when it showed his son and then his grave, and this was definately the third.?? The ending was so sad, it's sweet to see how much he truely loved his son and that's what makes watching him with Zuko so special, as it's easy to see how he transfers his fatherly love to him.??

    Momo's Tale:
Funny, cute, but a little sad to see how much he's grown attatched to Oppa.

Overall, the episode was informative and great.?? I hope we get more excellent episodes.

Yeah that he even tried to juggle for her and that he tried to get a conversation started

Zuko: "You have..quit an appetite for a girl.."
    Jin: "Thanks?"

So cute, I couldn't stop laughing about it

Zuko: "We were, uh, part of this traveling circus"
Jin: "Really? What did you do? Wait let me guess.. You juggled"
Zuko: [a bit annoyed] "Yes, I juggled"

    Stupid stupid episode.

IIRC last week's episode left us with a suspenseful explanation of the
secrets of Ba Sing Sei. Then they give us a episode where they're all
happy? Weren't they just trapped by that man? Ugh...

They weren't all happy and this was a filler cause they can't have 7 episodes of pure plot in one place without 1 or 2 filler episodes.

Yeah, but I liked it... it gave us a little insight to each character.
