Zuko is not recognizable anymore. I doubt many outside the FN know Zuko was banished or, he has a huge scar on the side of his head. Other than wanted posters, there are probably no recent pictures of him. Only other refugees would recognize him from a poster and most of them would just mind their business. Why would an exiled, criminal prince be working in a tea shop in Ba Sing Se? He's just an EK boy injured in the war and taking care of his uncle who is too old to be in said war.

It's amazing what a change in hairstyle and clothes along with a different personality can do with people's ability to recognize you.

The main reason for Zuko's change is...no Avatar. When was the last time Zuko??even saw Aang? "The Chase." He hasn't even mentioned the Avatar since the episode after that. But I guarantee that as soon as Zuko finds out Aang is in Ba Sing Se, he'll take a turn towards his old self...

Dude he did go back to his old self. But then Iroh got shot and everyone was sad, and...you know the rest.

since Bitter Work he hasn't even mentioned the Avatar and has been acting like a different person...so I'm saying that when he finds out Aang is in Ba Sing Se he'll go back to the Prince Zuko from Season 1...the desperate to catch the Avatar, relentless Zuko of old

bottom line: when Zuko finds out Aang is there he's gonna go back to his old self and his old ways...ya feelin' me?

i doubt seeing the avatar will want zuko to capture him again, that would make no sense. it'd be like someone with a bounty on their head killing someone else with a bounty on their and turning him in to the person paying for both of their deaths.

Sorry this is a late reply but if you want an obvious clue to her being an assassin (given that that's the story's direction) then you have no taste as a consumer. Surprises are signs of good stories. It shouldn't be something you see coming. Foreshadowing is acceptable, but obvious clues? What kind of shows are you watching? Some small cerulean dog doesn't have to show up and point at the bad guy's evil moustache before you figure it out.

Good writing means that there are small clues strewn about that hint at the surprise or twist.?? It is the reason why there is the saying that truth is stranger than fiction.?? Also, this is a children's show.?? They can't add too many more major characters without having too many people for viewers to keep track of, and action shows for younger viewers don't use very intricate storylines.?? Even older fans will not go for the sudden twist surprise; it screams deus ex machina and poor writing.?? We accept Aang's old home being destroyed because Katara and Sokka were preparing him for it.?? We accept Omashu being under seige because it's been established how the Fire Nation is slowly taking over the Earth Kingdom.?? Good writing means creating the believability for the surprise.?? It's more believable for Jin to be a princess than an assassin.

No, we always wait for the dog with shifty eyes. That's the real clue

Its was boring and pointless. Easily the worst.
Funny -- that segment was the one I played the most after I got the iTunes file.

... it was some impressively precise bending. Zuko is getting better, and I think no other firebender has been shown to be that precise. Not that they can't be. I've just never seen any of the benders prepare in that particular way before; it looked a lot like praying.
Zuko learned well from Iroh when Iroh taught him about taking wisdom from the other elements. Zuko merged an earthbending tactic with his firebending, both when he was fighting the Rough Rhinos and in The Tale of Zuko. Instead of hurling fire arcs (like he had been doing), he learned how to throw fire daggers.

Okay.?? You need to really watch what you say and how you express that lovely thing called an opinion.?? Katara/Toph's plot was my favoirte one and not jsut because Katara and Toph are my two favorite cahracters, and the ones whom I identify the most with, but I can totally relate to Toph there.?? I was picked on a lot during my life for being visually impaired.?? It was wrong, but it happened. And even though it made me a stronger person in the long run, ti still hurt.?? Words can hurt.?? I don't know if you were just having a bad day or you jsut dont' like Katara/Toph, but whatever the reason, you need to really be careful how you express your opinion.?? Because it sounds like you're agaisnt people with disabilities and if that's the case, then you are the one who is truly blind.?? You're blind to the fact that people with disabilities are just like everyone else.?? And you're also blind to the fact that having eye sight isn't everything.?? In fact, I think seeing with your heart is better than seeing with your eyes any day.?? And anyway, I think Katara being there ffor Toph was sweet and so Katara.?? And what those girls said to Toph was awful and if yo ruead in btween teh lines, you'll notice that they were making fun of her not being able t

o see, not her beaity or waht htey thought was beauty.?? Well I'm done here now.?? I jstu hope you'll look with your ehart instead of your eyes the next time you see something like Katara/Toph's story. It had a valuable lesson to teach.
