Like Vice82 said, Toph should be the Avatar. Not Aang. My sister agrees with you.

But hey! Doesn't the end make you wanna keep watching the series?? This is exactly why this season finale is the BEST marketing tool ever. HEY EVERYONE! After all, it's not called Zuko: the Last Airbender. This show isn't about Zuko. I'm glad he went back as someone else's lacky and how the show does not revolve around him. If he became a good guy, I would have to label this show as a typical Nicktoons/Disney plot. But it's kind of strange to see how people think this show is bad because of Zuko's decision. It's almost as bad as Naruto where even the main character isn't important. LOL.

However, if Zuko were to turn good when he's gained the firenation's trust, that would give the GaAng the inside help.

When is the new avatar episode put on turbonick?
Right after the airing of the show or somewhat later? I am asking this because I don't see the finale anywhere on turbonick.

the only way I'll forgive Zuko is if he breaks Iroh out and beats the CR@P out of Azula.

I think Azula just hit Zuko where he was most vurneable. He wants to be accepted. Still I am so mad at him right now.

PS I want to be like Toph when I grow up!

Great episode- i wont go as far to say its the best though because in my opionion last season's finale was way better, but i suppose it shows how the hero doesnt win every battle. overall the cliffhangers were just plain mean..... now we must wait... and wait.... but i think we can handle it. darn zuko. just when everyone started to like him....he turned .

I have a theory that maybe Zuko and Iroh are in this big deception to totally trick Azula. I REFUSE to think that all that character development that that boy brat prince went through, all went down the tubes!!!!!!!

Probably one of the best single episodes of television I've ever witnessed. Leaves me wanting another episode right now. As far as Zuko...he's nearly in the exact same spot emotionally as he was before the final two episodes. At the very end of the episode, there were hints of regret. Of course, Azula being sociopath she is, will try to talk him out of. I think one of the two is in for a huge betrayal...

No idea what happened to Iroh, but if he's alive he's gained the trust of the gAang. It's possible that Iroh might be the one to teach firebending to Aang.

And Aang...this is one complicated situation. Of course the critical question will be did he die and did he die in the Avatar State? If so, how will his healing or resurrection affect the line of avatars? Will he start a new generation or will he be the last avatar ever? I can't wait for next season...it has to answer a lot of questions.

Man, I'm disappointed. And to make it worst, masterofaeons is sure to show up, say something sarcastic, and hurt someone's feelings.

But hey, maybe he'll make us laugh.

at the end of the episode, when it was just azula and zuko, i kept thinking *hoping* that zuko would turn and all of a sudden attack her or something on the line of what you said. i suppose theres always season 3.

I was literally shouting at the TV when Zuko made his decision to betray Iroh. My parents probably thought I was crazy. Then again, they probably already think I am.

This episode was just.... wow. The commercial wasn't lying. I hear it say "shocking conclusion" and so far, about 45 minutes throughthe episode and still n oshocks, but that ending... wow. First of all, I have to say that after tonight, I just lost a great deal of the sympathy??I developed for Zuko's situation. He turned on the ONLY person he trusted. And what kind of an idiot was he when he believed Azula? He did that one other time: the beginning of the series. Oh, and guess what? She LIED!!! He was going to be emprisoned. What stops THIS from being any different? As for Aang, he's obviously not dead (he was concious for a moment, then the end happened. He simply was sleeping, probably dreaming that he was in a magical land where Azula died every five minutes, Zuko didn't turn on Iroh, Ozai was dead before the war started, there is no war and he'd never have to drink banana-onion juice ever again). Personally, I can't wait for season 3 (obviously no one can). Seeing as it'll probably come in March, I'll have a birthday present from Nick! (Yay!)

    In short:

A bittersweet but brilliant episode, and I applaud the writers immensely. And I doubt that any of those storylines are finished: Aang's battle with the Avatar state, he and Katara, the fate of Ba Sing Se, Toph's captors, Zuko...it'll be a weak final season indeed if it turns out that there is nothing more to all these plot points.

For once I want someone to get the best of Azula. I know what her plan is with Zuko. As soon as they get home, she and her father, are going to put Zuko in prison. She wants to humilated him in front of their people, and take away his only friend Iroh. That is what her plan is, no doubt about it.

I hope someone outsmarts Azula. I can't stand that she always is one step ahead of everyone?

Amazing, I loved it, but not nearly as good as seige of the north.?? The Crossroads of Destiny was awesome, Guru not so much.?? The only thing I like in the Guru was Toph's advance earthbending metalbending.??

??I love that Zuko stayed with the fire nation.?? He makes so much more of a bad guy than a good one.??

I can't wait to rewatch that amazing fight, I know everyone knows which one I'm talking about.?? I don't understand why Katara had to fight Azula who is 10x better than Zuko and Aang is 10x better than Katara.?? I thought it seemed kind of unfair to Katara, but she held her own which I was surprised.??

It seemed kind of interesting in the Guru that the first three, spiritual blocks (can't remember what their called) were Water, Earth, and Fire.?? I kind of thought that maybe that the writers were making it possible to have other books available such as Grief, Love, and two others.??

I still want to know what happen to Jet and the Kyoshi Warriors.??
