I'm in the same situation! Also I hate how pretty much nothing was resolved and we got even more questions to ask and more time to wait!

Yes! YES! Zuko stayed a villain just like I hoped. He's charecter continues to be the most interesting on the show by far. Really when he walked up to Azula and Aang and was looking back and forth between the two, I was like "Attack Aang, do it!" And when he did, it was awesome. Great episode, with even greater plot twist. I guess we can all agree that Zuko won't be Aangs fire bending teacher, although by the end of book 3 Zuko will probably be good. |
Yeah, I was saying the same thing. In my opinion Zuko is much better as a villain.

Now let's think for a second, if the Avatar cycle ended there would be no more airbenders once Aang died. And don't give me any "Well Aang and his signifcant other's kids will have more kids" this is Nickelodeon, not Cinemax. |

So, If Aang's avatar spirit died, which made him able to bend the other elements. So Aang might just end up being just an Airbender, after all that work. |
Someone's post on the previous page really got me thinking. This could be all a trick planned out by Zuko and Iroh. I mean, Azula did leave them alone for a few minutes, and they didn't show what they talked about. Plus, Zuko said to Katara "I have changed.". This could very well be another plot.
However, with the very unexpected twists of tonights ep. I don't even know what to expect anymore.
This was the most suspenseful moment ever in Avatar. This was the perfect ending to this season. Now it's onto season three, where Aang can finally defeat the Fire Lord. After all, season three should be the Fire chapters *season one was Water and season two was Earth*.
Now that Toph can bend metal, does this mean Aang will too eventually? Stay tuned!

Did you not see the hole in Aang's back? Not something you would expect to see on Nick either |

From watching action shows I've learned this much, holes in backs don't mean jack.
Ok... let's review what is now officially the WORST?? position that Gaang has ever been in
1.) The Earth Kingdom has officialy been conquered
2.) The only safe place left is the Northern Water Tribe
3.) Aang has no firebending teacher
4.) Zuko is evil (yet again)
5.) Aang may have just??lost the Avatar State by being killed in it (we're not sure, since Katara brought him back)
6.) Aang may have a scar of his own.
Let's review what effect it has on us
1.) The foundations of Zutara have officially crumbled to nothingness, and Kataangs are the only true force left.
2.) We'll all be waiting, and waiting... and waiting for??3+ months for Avatar to re-enter our lives.
3.) We're all quite angry at Nick for totally tricking us.
Now let's review the options for the Gaang
1.) Go to the North Pole (since it's all that's left) - my 2nd choice
2.) The Gaang goes back to Ba Sing Se, teams up with once again changed Zuko and defeats Azula (so hopeful)!!! - my 1st choice
3.) The Gaang goes to Gaoling (4th choice)
4.) The Gaang roams the now-fire-nation-conquered Earth Kingdom - 3rd Choice
5.) Go back to find the Guru (5th chocie)
Now my comments
Excellent episode! very sad, but way to trick us!
Is anyone else getting tired of Zuko and his wishy-washiness? He's like the Charlie Brown of Avatar!
Toph can bend metal... Now why couldn't she figure that out during "The Drill"? Also, does this mean she could take on a Fire Nation ship just by bending it?
Aang loves Katara, Katara loves Aang. Sorry Zutaras, you lost
Ok, all done
