Yes! YES! Zuko stayed a villain just like I hoped. He's charecter continues to be the most interesting on the show by far. Really when he walked up to Azula and Aang and was looking back and forth between the two, I was like "Attack Aang, do it!" And when he did, it was awesome. Great episode, with even greater plot twist. I guess we can all agree that Zuko won't be Aangs fire bending teacher, although by the end of book 3 Zuko will probably be good.

i dont know what to think about this movie. i have many feelings about it. suprized, amazed, dissapointed, i dont know what to think. im just suprized in aang with the way he was fighting. i mean even katara was defeated azula very well. why couldnt aang, the avatar! and zuko! how could he betraied his uncle like that! his uncle! who has been by his side through eveything no matter what! how could he do something like that just when he was starting to do good. it put such a smile on my face when he was being so nice to iroh. but he just flat out dissapointed the CRAP out of me. and toph!! DAMMM DID YOU SEE HER!!!!!! amaazingg!!. and aw man i really thought aang and katara were gunna kiss at the end. but no. and with katara and zuko, that cave sceen didnt last too long. im sure all of the zutara fans were REALLY let down by the was zuko was acting. but i kno zuko is gunna chnage and become good agian and help his uncle agien. he'll do the right thing. i have to be the most mad about aang from getting hit with azulas fireblast. i mean come on aang, in the last eep he was doing sooo good with fighting. this wpp just disapointed me totally. i wanted to see him in the avatar state. . all i can say now is, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT??!

i know nick left us on such a cliffhanger, they tricked our minds!!anyways, i really have a feeling that zuko is good deep down and that iroh, katara, and his mother really effected him, zuko is one of my favorite characters and to see him make that bad decision really dissapointed me, he better redeem himself, i think thats what the nick creators are setting up
he's (zuko) one of my favorites too. i just hope that the creators aren't as mean as to drop his case with this. i think he'll somehow redeem himself because i'm sure we're not the only dissapointed zuko fans. if he does redeem, i hope its something really big.
ughh i know!!For a moment I thought that Zuko would be so. . good, and do the right thing!i just really hope that he redeems himself and I think that may have something to do with his mother, and possibly his uncle and katara they wouldn't have included all of this foreshadowing and charachter development, they have built Zuko up to be more than an easily manipulated evil prince, he has a good side he has oh so close to being "the beautiful prince" he as meant to be.

i know. if the creators wanted us to hate zuko in the beginning (of the series) then love him (second season) and then hate him again... grrr, thier gunna have to make up thier minds!

Yeah, I was saying the same thing. In my opinion Zuko is much better as a villain.

I thought this was a great ending for the season, and if any one doesn't think that Azula is going to stop with the earth kingdom they are crazy, don't be surprised if she does not try to take down her father( I think she could do it).

Aang now knows what he is up against and he will have to take it to another level if he is going to beat the fire nation, but having Master Toph ( I love that girl) , and Master Katara( they both have earned their titles after this season) he just might be able to do it. I've never been more impressed with two characters like Toph , and Katara to raise their level of battle who continuewhen the fight gets tougher.

Bring on the third season ( the wait is already killing me).

Well, we could look at it this way:

There will be 4 people to be the protectors of the world instead of 1. And that kicks ass.

I mean, everyone is getting to be really amazing benders!

If Aang had died right then and there the avatar would have been no more fortuantly Katara was able to pull his spirit back and heal him.?? I doubt that he has lost any powers that he had (although he could have) The way the Guru was talking though anyone could learn how to bend multiple elements if they just broke down the divisions between them in there minds.

Someone's post on the previous page really got me thinking. This could be all a trick planned out by Zuko and Iroh. I mean, Azula did leave them alone for a few minutes, and they didn't show what they talked about. Plus, Zuko said to Katara "I have changed.". This could very well be another plot.

However, with the very unexpected twists of tonights ep. I don't even know what to expect anymore.

I'm personally a bit dissapointed... It was really great, but it just didn't feel revolutionary like a season finale should be. Isn't the whole point of a finale is to have things change and be resolved? Instead we got Zuko suddenly decide to be on the dark side and Suki just "knocked out." Don't get me wrong; it was really, really good, but it just didn't feel like a season finale to me.

This was the most suspenseful moment ever in Avatar. This was the perfect ending to this season. Now it's onto season three, where Aang can finally defeat the Fire Lord. After all, season three should be the Fire chapters *season one was Water and season two was Earth*.

Now that Toph can bend metal, does this mean Aang will too eventually? Stay tuned!

why do so many shows do this to us? o yes, so we'll support them = more money... but yea i just wish they answered more questions like they did in season 1's finale... they better answer them SOME time in season 3... unlike Lost... which keeps us waiting...and waiting... and waiting... season after season!

Ok... let's review what is now officially the WORST?? position that Gaang has ever been in

1.) The Earth Kingdom has officialy been conquered

2.) The only safe place left is the Northern Water Tribe

3.) Aang has no firebending teacher

4.) Zuko is evil (yet again)

5.) Aang may have just??lost the Avatar State by being killed in it (we're not sure, since Katara brought him back)

6.) Aang may have a scar of his own.

Let's review what effect it has on us

1.) The foundations of Zutara have officially crumbled to nothingness, and Kataangs are the only true force left.

2.) We'll all be waiting, and waiting... and waiting for??3+ months for Avatar to re-enter our lives.

3.) We're all quite angry at Nick for totally tricking us.

Now let's review the options for the Gaang

1.) Go to the North Pole (since it's all that's left) - my 2nd choice

2.) The Gaang goes back to Ba Sing Se, teams up with once again changed Zuko and defeats Azula (so hopeful)!!! - my 1st choice

3.) The Gaang goes to Gaoling (4th choice)

4.) The Gaang roams the now-fire-nation-conquered Earth Kingdom - 3rd Choice

5.) Go back to find the Guru (5th chocie)

    Now my comments

Excellent episode! very sad, but way to trick us!

Is anyone else getting tired of Zuko and his wishy-washiness? He's like the Charlie Brown of Avatar!

Toph can bend metal... Now why couldn't she figure that out during "The Drill"? Also, does this mean she could take on a Fire Nation ship just by bending it?

Aang loves Katara, Katara loves Aang. Sorry Zutaras, you lost

    Ok, all done
