Bumi DID say he was waiting for the right time to attack the fire people, I think when the Earth Kingdom is captured it's time to hurry up!

However, with the very unexpected twists of tonights ep. I don't even know what to expect anymore.

i really hope that something like your saying happens because the creators of the show wouldnt think we would expect that, with the whole zuko "gone bad" thing, maybe they thought people would just accept it. but then again they know that most zuko fans wouldn't accept him like this without a fight... or until real proof comes.

I still cant believe Toph can metalbend. This was one of the best episodes ever.Im really pissed at one thing though.I read something on the nick avatar site about earthbending and it said: "Earthbending's most significant weakness is it's inabillity to manipulate MAN ALTERED metals.Firebenders exploit this weakness by smelting metal to remove its natural impurities and then using it to construct their armor, ships, and forts." Which means that Toph wont be able to bend the metal on their ships or their forts because they take all the rocks out of it. I was hoping Toph could bend their costumes and just throw them around but after i found out they did this to their armor...I was really pissed off. Toph could have been a good advantage but know she can hardly bend most metals, only some.

This is what is thin is goint to happen:

In season 3 Iroh will teach Aang the basics of fire bending. Zuko and Azula will be bad through the whole thing, but there will be signs that Zuko is feeling he is doing the wrong thing Zuko is going to turn good when Azula kills Iroh, and beats Aang in the sesion finale of season 3. Zuko will then get pissed and beat the snot out of Azula. Zuko will then finish teaching Aang fire bending.

That was my post.?? I don't think that Zuko could possibly be that stupid. Azula just fed him the same stuff from the Avatar State episode. I think he knows how his sister is by now. He knows that she hates his guts and thinks he's lower than dirt.

I think he has this ultimate plan, and is going to do to Azula what she does to everyone else: undermine her from the inside! Get her to think that she's tricking him, when he's actually tricking her! He and Iroh are cooking up a good double-cross from the inside. Maybe with the help of Long Feng?

This SUCKS! I can't believe how far down the drain the series has gone. From the first episodes being well written and balanced out with drama and comedy, to rushing through and stuffing so many things into??two episodes it makes me want to murder the writer! The scene where Zuko turns, Aang gives up katara, Dies, and then gets ressurected seems rushed and - crammed. Proper credit and pause was not given to the fact that Aang DIED! And, of course what that meant, which was that the Line of Avatars is now over. Yeah,??kinda big and they gave it about as much time as??I would have to Sokka catching a fish.??

Ok now that tons of ppl have talked about it, could someone PLEASE write an episode recap for them? It's super hard to piece together all that hapened based on what ppl are saying. I am gathering that aang ditched his training to help katara, toph escaped and is ok, Sokka seemingly had very little parts, and Azula kicked the crap out of Aang?

Also, even though I haven't even seen it, rmemeber the trick Iroh and Zuko did to Zhao in the season finale last season? Wouldn't it be hilarious if they just did the same thing twice (having them trick someone) only to have everyone fall for it again?

Iroh had his head down, and he was talking to Zuko about the crossroads of destiny, I don't think it was planned.

Well, that made my eye twitch. What is with being immature about something so minuscule and trivial? I have no shippings, but this is why people become ugly to each other by exacerbating the problem.

I think both of you have it right there. The "I have changed" quote was a little off.

Who else thinks the Gaang is gonna break out Iroh so he can teach Aang firebending? If Aang is alive and still the avatar, that is.

k i just thought of something what if zuko has a higher plan, maybe he is pulling an azula on azula!!!what if he tricked her like she has done to him sooo many times!!
at the end of the episode, when it was just azula and zuko, i kept thinking *hoping* that zuko would turn and all of a sudden attack her or something on the line of what you said. i suppose theres always season 3.
i know nick left us on such a cliffhanger, they tricked our minds!!anyways, i really have a feeling that zuko is good deep down and that iroh, katara, and his mother really effected him, zuko is one of my favorite characters and to see him make that bad decision really dissapointed me, he better redeem himself, i think thats what the nick creators are setting up
he's (zuko) one of my favorites too. i just hope that the creators aren't as mean as to drop his case with this. i think he'll somehow redeem himself because i'm sure we're not the only dissapointed zuko fans. if he does redeem, i hope its something really big.
ughh i know!!For a moment I thought that Zuko would be so. . good, and do the right thing!i just really hope that he redeems himself and I think that may have something to do with his mother, and possibly his uncle and katara they wouldn't have included all of this foreshadowing and charachter development, they have built Zuko up to be more than an easily manipulated evil prince, he has a good side he has oh so close to being "the beautiful prince" he as meant to be.
i know. if the creators wanted us to hate zuko in the beginning (of the series) then love him (second season) and then hate him again... grrr, thier gunna have to make up thier minds!
i know!!the creators must like messing with our minds!!

    true that!

The Gaang might break out Iroh not just so that Aang has a firebending teacher, but to help Aang live. Iroh's taken a lightning bolt from Azula to the heart too, remember. And the firebending is also a nice perk.
