All is forgiven. But really, in a show where a person make some random martial arts gesture and a giant boulder will launch from the ground it isn't all THAT farfetched...and hell people coming back from the dead happens in real life all the time. CPR? Defrillbulators? All designed to restart the human heart. And once your heart stops, you're dead...doesn't mean you have to stay dead you know?

    But damn.
Does that mean this affected the "avatar state & cycle?"

Well I asked my source a bunch of questions about the finale, including about the Avatar state (did Aang master it?) and some other things...since Nick.com's site is really unreliable at times.

All he answered was if Aang died, and he said yes, he did. We sure will have to find out next year if he still has the combined powers of the past Avatars, and more importantly can he still go into the spirit world - and I'm not talking episode 7 spirit world, I'm talking episode 20 spirit world. Will he lose contact with Roku? Oh man...so many questions...

    alright

I'm not sure if anyone else has said this but

Katara had to be aware of Zuko and Iroh being banished from the FN -they help them against Zhao at the north pole which was treason AND. Gosh they even fought along side GAang against Azula , Azula even reffered to them as traitors...(also even though she doesn't know it Zuko also saved them from the Dai Li)

so why did she claim that the FN and infiltrated the city when she saw them

...she also theories that Zuko's pressense in prison with her was a FN trap

what all year she didn't see a single Zuko wanted poster?

I honestly never thought about that since it was a plothole for both of them to be down there in the first place. Zuko maybe if Azula actually planned on talking to him but Katara?, in a place with access to water? That almost screams plothole. So does what your talking about.

There was no plot hole. There may have been water in the main city, but Katara was nowhere near that place, and therefore was nowhere near a source of water.

And now I'm going on a small rant here:

People have mentioned before that Katara was winning because she's a waterbender, and water has an advantage over fire.

    These people are wrong.

It has been repeatedly shown that there are no inherit advantages or disadvantages in the bending arts. The Air Nomads were wiped out because of the Fire Nation's superior numbers and Sozin's Comet, NOT because fire does 20% more damage to Airbenders than any other element.

I realize that there are many series, such as Naruto, that have a hierarchy of elemental powers, with one being weak against the other. Avatar is not one of these series. Katara had the upper hand against Azula because that's how strong and skilled she has gotten, not because she had an advantage with water. If this was true, the Water Tribes would have trounced the Fire Nation a long time ago, as they wielded the stronger element.

I have to disagree about the plothole part. Yes she didn't have immediate access to it but any skilled water bender can bend water they can't see, and they should've been aware that Katara might have been able to make her way to the water anyway. Even ignoring that since those could go either way, They had metal cells to lock Sokka, Toph, and the Earth King up. It makes absolutely no sense to lock those people away but dump Katara in an abandoned cave. Not to mention the fact that Katara was actually chained up in Aang's vision of her, why would they chain her up and then un-restrict her mobility just to put her in a cave?

Katara can't bend water when she doesn't know it's there at all - and Katara was captured while Azula was still undercover, they couldn't have stuck her in a public cell that the earth king had access to.

Like I said the first part could've gone either way, we really don't know the structure of that cave or if there was water closer to her that she could've found and used (and I doubt a man in charge of cultural affairs would randomly go down to the prisons although maybe the generals would have), and that still doesn't explain her being in chains first. Speaking of which, why not move her to a cage once she and the Dai Li were working together?

ZOMG, you just solved the plothole!! They couldn't stick Katara in a cell, cause the military guards would be like: "WTF, why are u locking up Katara?" And then Azula's plan falls apart. Same with Zuko. Underground is the best prison, cause only earthbenders have access to it. And maybe only the dai lee knew about the crystal catacombs.

Wow, that plothole was really starting to tick me off, thanks for clearing it up.

Didnt Aang and Iroh have to blast through several caves to find them? I thought while they were underground in a cave, they were sealed off from the cavern with water.?? Aang had to blast an opening through with his earthbending.

But then why would they stick Zuko down there? If he was in a normal cell, nothing would be said about it, no one would even know him. But of course they had to put him down there, first of all so zutarians could have their moment, I mean come on, the story could have still gone on if that part hadn't have happened, second, no, that's pretty much it, but they could have also used bringing up the oasis water as an excuse, but she still could have healed him without getting Zuko's hopes up for nothing. Then again...you know what, I don't even care and I'm not going to sit here and contradict myself for the next hour. Sorry if this opened up the plot hole.
