Anyone else like Tokka? That's my favorite shipping. |
To be honest, my favorite Sokka ship was always Sokka/Yue. After Yue died, and Yuokka with it, I became somewhat indifferent to Sokka's ships.

And I quote from the "Shipping History" thread:
"118 - 120 saw the rise and fall of Yuokka. Although short lived, it is remembered historically as being the only ever true threat to the nation of Sukka. After it's collapse, most of the citizens of Yuokka were assimilated into George, although to this day many of them still retain a strong sense of Yuokkan patriotism".
LeonMorado was a genius.

Nothing truer has ever been typed I must admit, when I first starting watching the series I wasn't exactly a shipper, because Kataang was so obviously going to happen (no offense to you Zutarians, but it's true). But, when I saw Sokka/Yue, I immediately became one. George posed a small threat, and I wanted to fight for Yuokka. That was my first experience of shipping. |

You mean like Haru, Jet, Teo, Meng, Kokko, and Aang's army of Kyoshi Island fangirls?

Exactly. Aang has met many. many girls in his lifetime, (and even came close to having relationships with a couple of them - Onji, and Kokko, perhaps Meng, at a stretch), but none of them did it for him - Katara was his angel, his light, his one true love, etc, etc. Same goes for Katara. She had opportunity for relationships with several nice (and not so nice) guys, among them Zuko. But none of them were right for her. In the end, she and Aang were always meant to be.

I agree they were ment to be in the end, but I don't like the idea of winding up with the first person you have a relationship with. |
