I believe that the face Zuko has on clearly indicates he is touched that someone else suffered through the same problems as him. I do think Song reached him at some level that no one else has before. Song had been through something very similar to Zuko, and therefore they bonded, whether Zuko wanted to or not. |

like i said with Jinko been while since ive seen these eps I remember that bit now, short but showed ZUko cared. BUT it wasnt so much for SOng (thou prob little) as for fact that ZUko is starting to see more of what the firenation has done. He didnt like the war before, but even so, i dont "think" he ever saw the victims of the war up close b4. The fact this girl had suffered similar to him did not stop him from stilling her emu/ostrich- horse without any remorse (that we saw) |

Zuko is a ladies man, that's all I can say He has the most possible cannon ships out of everyone in the show. |

So everyone seems to agree on Jinko and Songko, even Kataangers, but if theres one mention of Zutara everyone gets all heated and goes into battle? |

Sounds about right. |

Yep, because ironically, Katara is pretty much the only girl in the show who has never expressed any interest in Zuko at all. Even Zuko/Toph has more evidence than Zutara, which really says something.

Pretty much the only only evidence of Taang that has ever been offered up is The Blind Bandit, The Swamp, and the same "opposites attract" ideal that was the foundation of Zutara for many. Pretty much all Taang shippers were Zutarians who were trying to convince people of it as an alternative, and failing miserably. |

Or maybe we just like the ship because we think its cute...? |

Those people would be few and far between, methinks, and likely to get crushed by the tokkans.

Very untrue. Song was trying to get close to Zuko the entire episode. And, in the end, when Zuko stole her ostrich horse, Song sat in the door way and let Zuko take it, understanding. That was a major thing for me. And it is sad that Songko never had time to develop. It would've been a really nice relationship. |
