    Of course the threat/risk is there of the show getting so bad everyone regrets them making another season, but if done well, I think they could continue the show with the same characters and not lose anything...I am just just getting a bit weary of shows that end with some picturesque shot, or like "and they lived happily ever after..." kinda thing, I mean, break the mold a little, no one will vilify you, or at least I will not.

    So, Dave, if you do read this, how was that deus ex machina?

    Quite honestly, I like how it all ended. Aang and Zuko got their girls, Iroh got his tea shop back, Bumi made a big impression with his comeback, Ty Lee got a happy ending, cute hug between Toph and The Duke, Zuko got to be Fire Lord, Ozai was defeated without dying, in fact nobody died, and all the gAang members got to have a great time in the re-opened tea shop. The only problems I have with the finale is that Sokka lost his space sword (though, there's always a slight chance that he could've retrieved it again later on), we still don't know where Fire Lady Ursa is, we didn't get to see the remaining Freedom Fighters (or even The Duke and Pipsqueak) reunited, and we still don't know if the Bei Fong family ever patched up their relationship.

    Kataang
    Zutara (sibling)
    Zukaang (sibling)
    Zukka (sibling)
    Toko (sibling, making Zuko like a big brother to the whole gAang XD)
    Maiko
    The Dukeeng (Meeng, that girl from the Fortune Teller episode)

    Pakanna (Pakka and Gran-Gran, hey it's canon now)
    Moppa

    I'm actually kind of glad toko never happened.I could tell the Duke liked Toph when he gave her his helmet in dabs part 2.

    You know, an interesting thing is occurring, every-time I see Katara and Aang kiss at the end of the movie, I get a little sick...kinda sad when I am as happy as I can force myself to be for them, they deserve it I guess, but, still.

    Yeah...that would be correct if it was the first season. A year passed from season 1 to season 3. Zuko is 17 and im pretty sure toph is 13...unless toph's birthday had not passed, but im pretty sure that a whole year had passed since the first season. Aang even says so before he walks outside with Zuko in the 3rd to last scene in the finale...

    What will happen the next time the Avatar cycle next time it comes to the Air Nomads? Will the cycle just be broken, and there will never be another after that?

    I'm gonna go with what a lot are saying about how Aang's decendants (well, a portion of them, at least) will be Airbenders. So, the next Air Avatar will probably be Aang's great-great-great-grandson/daughter or something.

    Good question... Wrong topic though. I made the same question a long time ago...I don't know; the cycle may not be broken, it might skip the air nomads or an air nomad could be born from any family although that would be weird and non-sense.
