I wish I could say fighting it would yield anything constructive, but it clearly would not. However, that will not stop Zutara fans from having their views and opinions, the way the end went down it is impossible for there to not be some crushed fans. I congratulate all Kataang fans, since I figured I had not done that yet, I would hope that had the outcome been different, they would be equally as gracious...right?

You know I would wager our minor setback has left US the more fervent fans, as we know how close we really were...and could still be...(crossing fingers)

Oh, and that moment when Katara and Zuko look at each other and then move away during the play...pretty sweet, I do so enjoy romantic awkwardness, now I can see it over and over again! If they are too stupid to see the truth about them in the play, then someone is going to let them know, I will volunteer.

See this was my thought's of the finale before I saw it.......

I was watching the first season on my computer and Aang hadn't fealt as close to anyone like Katara since Monk Keiatsu (his old air temple master) right?

AND Aang was frozen in an iceberg for 100 years making him 112 right?

The order for the avatars is Wind, Water, Earth, and Fire so I was thinking that it might've been Katara as the next avatar. Now I know it sounds crazy but it could work. So in the finale, heaven forbid, I thought that they would be fighting the Fire Lord off from the Earth Kingdom while Zuko faced off against Azula. Then Aang would give his life for Katara and she would go beastmode with like all of the past avatars in the background and Aang would appear, I thought this because his avatar state chakra was blocked and he couldn't activate it so it was passed on, not to mention katara was the last water bender from her tribe remember?

......Then Zuko would be on the brink of death when Mae and Tai Lee would step in and together they would kill Azula

I also thought that Sukki was gonna die, Uncle was going to die, and the series would end with a older looking Zuko and Mae holding twin boys with Katara, Toph, Sokka, and the gang in the background and Zuko names them after Aang and Iroh.....And then come to find out Toph and Sokka got married, and Katara and the Earthbending kid with the mustachse got married.

This does not mean I support relationships above except Zuko and Mae.

I support Kataang, Sukka, Zukae, and Toph+Earthbending kid with mustasche

sokka and suki were meant to be...but i do feel bad for toph...cuz she liked him...well.....thats weird how they didnt have toph nd up with anybody.,.....how rude of them to leave her out like that....i think Toph and Zuko would be weird....but somehow at some parts of some episodes.....like The Ember Island Players.....i think Toph and Zuko would make a good couple in an awkward sort of way...hahhahaha...but it would never happen....so anyways....toph needs someone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

from american43 s comment. katara couldnt be avatar. only one on earth at a time. and i was kinda rooting for sokka and toph. even though im still very happy with suki and sokka. they couldnt kill another one of sokkas girls. that would be just cruel.

did anyone actually die in this finale??

    you know,

i was thinking that myself but he Aang should've been long gone by the time katara was born but since he decided to make a snowcone of himself and wait 100 years give or take a few katara couldn't fullfill her destiny, but that's not how it played out and no one died but i have evidence of what Book 4 is going to be about, it's the most obvious cliff hanger in the world at the end of sozin's comit part 4. they'll start searching for zuko's mom......didn't get an answer on the show after zuko asked his fater it went straight to iroh's tea shop, that's my thinking

    i have no f_in idea
i just got into it and downloaded all 3 seasons, but i need more that and g gundam are the only anime i have hope for, don't die on me avatar writers, and don't make a crappy spin off like dbz did and give the same villains with a semi-different look but same generic villain plans: take over/destroy the earth.......it's played out by every anime in the history of good animes period

Hopefully the movie or movies the writers will be able to elaborate more on the series and be able to continue the story even further than these seasons

I would think the odds of the writers continuing the story/series in some capacity is pretty good, I would just hope it continues with the original characters, I mean they can certainly introduce new ones, but I think it would not be impossible to create a new threat, perhaps even more dangerous than the comet and the Firelord, and from there could bring the whole old-crew back. I guess what I am really thinking/saying is that while a continuation of the show/series would be GREAT, it just would not feel the same, or have the same pull for me, without the original characters...I have grown too fond of them to replace them. Plus, if they brought back the Gaang, then they could kinda show us what the future holds for them...I know I am wondering...

But then the show would be just like DBZ were every threat is insignificant to an even larger more serious threat, to the point where it'll just get ridiculous how threatening a threat is.

yeah and nothing ruins a show more than pulling a dbz. pulling a dbz: creating generic villain after generic villain with the same concept for each of them: taking over/ destroying the world.......what could happen is in my comment on 3847 on this page

I feel that there needed to be a little more character development leading into the finale (or in the finale itself). I mean, the fighting scenes were undoubtedly awesome, but it just seemed like there was so much less of the soul to soul discussion between characters which permeated the earlier seasons a little more. I was craving so badly to see a little more into the psyche of the characters! Moreover, I think that that sort of insight would've helped all the relationships to fit together a lot better. The only relationship which I really saw coming together fittingly was Sokka-Suki (in terms of being handled nicely), even though I agreed with all the final pairings.
