When Katara and Toph went against each other who would win?
And don???t automatic say Toph; because Katara as improve tremendously her water bending skills and Toph has fight mostly earthbenders

Toph, even if Katara is standing near the ocean, Toph is stronger than Katara and has more experience.

Now, I will not immediately say either...

On fair ground, with plenty of earth and water, I say Toph would win, because Katara would have to be airborne to avoid detection and her stances require her to be firm and focused.

Also, Toph can do some neat things with earthbending so Katara's waves can't knock her over easily...

Yes, I'll go with a close win for Toph.

Well another vs. thread well I'd say Toph she has a more larger variety of attacks and can simply protect herself with heavly armored rocks.

Well, if you put it on even ground Katara would actually win. Water benders do not bend by using havy motions like earth benders. Water benders actually just stay in the same place. So Toph would have a hard time knowing where Katara is. Also if Katara got Toph in water Toph wold be skrewed b/c water carries vibrations very well there would be so many vibrations that Toph wouldn't know where Katara is.
A mud wresting mach between the two would be sweet though
