I got my mom to watch it on the reruns of Seige of The North now she asks me to explain it whenever she doesn't get something.?? She asked me to give her a full bio of Zuko... I didn't need to do any research I know him well XD?? A twelve year old girl teaching her mother (whose age I will not say ) about anything at all is pretty wierd, though. (I'm 12, not 13.?? I somehow forgot my own age 0_o)?? |

Sly is right. I watch the show with my son. Iroh breakdancing. There's no way he'd understand why that was funny.
It might be targeted for a sertan age but it has a??complicated plot??and a??cople of other things??make older ages watch it. I got my mom and dad to??love it and I also got my ant to like it as well.??

This show is great for people of all ages. It's very smart, has a great story line, and has some funny jokes. Some people just don't understand that. Unfortunately, even someone who is 13 like me has to hide that they like this show, when I'm barely over the target audience. It must suck to be even older; you might have to hide it more.
I bet I am the oldest, at 43 years old!??
I came to this site on a quest to find a place that I could ask questions that my 4 1/2 year old son posed.?? My little Fire Bender adores this program, and wants to know all the obscure stuff.??
We started watching the show from the beginning.?? Though the first commercials made Avatrar seem like trivial cartoon, so I wasn't planning to watch, out of curiosity I tuned in.?? My son and I were fans from the very beginning.??
Most of the kids on this forum would want to have me for a mom.?? I love the program so much, I get the DVDs, toys, shirts and other products as I can find them.?? I even have a t-shirt!
I met one other parent electronically via this forum today.?? I would be curious to know how many others are an "Avatar Parent".

When I was a kid, my dad would always watch cartoons with us kids and he was a high level businessman. I would hardly have classified him as immature. Whether the genre is called cartoons or animation really doesn't matter to me. I just saw it as entertainment. I still like watching these shows if they still stand the test of time.
The new Disney/Dreamworks/Pixar movies have also helped adults to enjoy animation without having to feel they are immature. There have been many animated series geared to older audiences (although I don't watch these shows on a regular basis). So I'm not sure why any adult that watches animated series should be considered immature. Although my sister was surprised how much I got into Blue's Clues when my daughter was in preschool, but hey I don't care what anyone says - it was fun!
