I know this might sound weird, and I don't know if it's been talked about-but, does anyone else have a bad feeling about the new guy that joined at the end of part two? (I would type his name but I can't spell it.) I kind of have a working theory that he is actually a personal spy of Ozai's and his mission was to infiltrate the prison and if anyone very important to Ozai showed up he was to try and escape with them. I think this is part of the reason Azula showed up actually, she might have had orders from Ozai to check in on his spy, maybe give him a new job or something. I don't know, it's still in the works for me. Plus, in the trailer, Azula finds the Gaang somehow, because you see them being chased by a war-blimp in an environment that looks an awful lot like the Western Airtemple.

If he did, why was he so eager to escape?

It could be that Azula asks around and is like, "Hey, villagers, have you seen any giant flying machines around here lately?!" "Oh yeah, that way."

Or it could be "Airbender? I wonder where he'll go. Maybe the Air Temple?" It's not that big an intellectual leap.

Azula would maybe go to her father, who'd make that intellectual leap for her.

I'm pretty sure she's shown us all that she's bright enough to do that herself...>_>

Do you really think Mai would tell Azula? She just said she loves Zuko more than she fears Azula. Mai probably only wanted to talk to Zuko. Zuko would most likely get executed for helping Aang. I doubt she would tell Azula. The Firelord himself tried to kill Zuko after all.
Then Azula found it strange for Mai to be visiting the Boiling Rock. Azula's guess might have been it involving her brother, thus leading her to suspect Aang being there too. Remember, Aang is more important than Zuko, and I'm sure Azula still underestimates her brother... well, until now.

That does sound more likely than Mai telling her.

anyone else notice how azula went from being confident to pissed off as she fought Zuko? and how he continually faced her attacks instead of trying to dodge them? WOOHOO!

"NO, YOU MISCALCULATED!!" YOU SHOULD HAVE FEARED ME MORE!!"

Without analyzing that at all, I can tell this is the beginning of Azula's 'downward spiral'.

You know now that we know Azula can fly with her fire she's probably not going to die in that fall we see in the finale trailer unless she's knocked out.

    What do you guys think?

I think you need to not be so desperate in trying to get people to answer you. esp. since what u said is common sense, and has no debatable points whatsoever.

That's ok I just didn't want it to get lost in all the posts(you know not seen) Anyway people were saying that they didn't think she could use her fire to fly, but I wonder if she could keep it up without stopping or slowing down I really don't know physics.

Zuko and Sokka for that matter, so what Mai did, and I guess the rest of the gAang knows that as well after Zuko and Sokka told them. So they know Mai is no longer on the Fire Lord's side. However they have no idea of what Ty Lee, as far at they know Ty Lee is an enemy.

I think those inconsidence of knowledge will play a part, and that I think somehow Ty Lee will bump into the gAang looking for help without Mai, and would have to earn their trust. Mai on the other hand wouldn't have that problem, because Zuko and Sokka could say she saved them and she's cool.

One disappointment was the lack of Zuko and Azula verbal communication during their fight. I wanted to know Azula feelings on Zuko's defection, maybe say something like "After everything I did for you to get back in father's good graces, this is how you repay me?" Just something like that.
But she DIDN'T try to get him in good graces, she specifically set him up to take the heat. She could say it, but it'd be in that typically snobby Azula way, which wouldn't have added much, in my opinion.

Also, the fight didn't suck. It wasn't supposed to be a wowzerz, amazing action sort of fight. First of all, if five people are fighting on top of a gondola like that, they're not gonna want to get too fancy with the fighting, or someone's gonna fall. Second, the Azula/Zuko half was pretty much just an attempt to slowly pin her against the edge. You don't want to lunge in there at her, or you'll be falling off, she's that good. And Zuko, while not amazing, did demonstrate some different styles. Hell, when Sokka first came out from behind him, Zuko pretty much had an airbender stance going on.

Meh the fight still wasn't that awesome. Ty Lee and Suki managed to have a awesome fight on a gondala. Zuko would just block Azula's attack and Sokka would jump out and poke her. Not as epic as the huge omg Zucest rematch I was hoping for.
There's something interesting in the Ty Lee/Suki battle. The "Terra Team" were the most powerful elite squad defending Ba Sing Se, yet Ty Lee and Mai took them out. Yet by herself, she couldn't take one Kiyoshi Warrior? Besides, Ty Lee could beat Azula! Though it was a surprise. And, Ty Lee took out Katara in Ba Sing Se! Why is that? Could Suki beat Katara? Nope. Yet Ty Lee couldn't block her chi....interesting....Suki's style of fighting is much like Toph's: Wait, then attack. Thoughts?
I think because the Terra Team wasn't really expecting this bouncy girl to be in the fight and were most likely hesitant to attack her. And she caught Katara by surprise 1st time and the other Katara was really tired. But Suki knew of Ty Lee's moves so she was prepared to dodge them, and to answer your question I doubt Suki could be the waterbending master Katara.

What mai did was more for zuko then for the others....
She still doesn't know why zuko joined the gaang she just loves zuko so much that she doesn't question his decision, besides I think she can see that this makes zuko happy which in term makes her happy....
So her joining the gaang... I doubt it. But in the end I think she's probably going to fight the firelord
