Well I guess we all know Zutara won't be happening, looks like Maiko will though, if Mai doesn't come to an unfortunate end.

I am a Zutarian, and even I had my doubts after watching this episode. The Nick Mag avatar special said Katara will either choose Aang or Zuko, definatly. Although Aang and Katara have a cutuness factor, Katara is unhappy and totally akward when she kisses Aang. At first I was so sure about my ship, but after seeing this episode I fear that if Katara is going to choose Zuko, the only way for that to happen is if Mai dies. As much as I don't want her to, I'm seriously afraid that that is what will happen.

Mai dies and Zuko gets over the death of his girlfriend, steals Aang's woman and leaves Aang all emo depressed?

    Sorry, can't see that happening.
QFT, I think it's safe to say that Zutara is definitely not happening, I'm not really a shipper, but come on how can you guys (Zutarians) justify it now?
    Aang=emo? Never.....hehehe...Now Zuko.......
Did you not see the Awakening? Aang was gettin' close to emo there, and if Zuko stole his girl right after he heroically defeated the Phoenix/Fire Lord I think he might get a little depressed.

I think Azula was there because she was escorting Sokka's father(Hakota right?) I mean she did help capture him and all. I kinda did expect Ty Lee and Mai to betray Azula at some point, but it was still a surprise when Ty lee attacked Azula. They probably won't show up until the finale though.

But then the Warden would have known. He was surprised when she walked in, remember?

One disappointment was the lack of Zuko and Azula verbal communication during their fight. I wanted to know Azula feelings on Zuko's defection, maybe say something like "After everything I did for you to get back in father's good graces, this is how you repay me?" Just something like that.
But she DIDN'T try to get him in good graces, she specifically set him up to take the heat. She could say it, but it'd be in that typically snobby Azula way, which wouldn't have added much, in my opinion.

Also, the fight didn't suck. It wasn't supposed to be a wowzerz, amazing action sort of fight. First of all, if five people are fighting on top of a gondola like that, they're not gonna want to get too fancy with the fighting, or someone's gonna fall. Second, the Azula/Zuko half was pretty much just an attempt to slowly pin her against the edge. You don't want to lunge in there at her, or you'll be falling off, she's that good. And Zuko, while not amazing, did demonstrate some different styles. Hell, when Sokka first came out from behind him, Zuko pretty much had an airbender stance going on.

OMG wait! The Warden is Mai's uncle, right? He also seems pretty close to her, he did inform her about capturing Zuko, let her talk to him, and sent a guard to look after her. Is he really now going to let his niece rot in jail? Just something to think about, that may play out later.

Yeah, but maybe she didn't tell anyone. She probably transported him there in her blimp.

i think he is more loyal to azula, but IF ty lee and mai stay inthe boiling rock prson, then he will just be nice to them whenever azula isn't there and sneak them food and stuff like that.

Meh the fight still wasn't that awesome. Ty Lee and Suki managed to have a awesome fight on a gondala. Zuko would just block Azula's attack and Sokka would jump out and poke her. Not as epic as the huge omg Zucest rematch I was hoping for.

I don't think so. The warden seems like he comes form the Ozai school of parenten and family love.

You know now that we know Azula can fly with her fire she's probably not going to die in that fall we see in the finale trailer unless she's knocked out.

The first half was awesome, no doubt about that. Especially everything building up to the break out. Even though the fights weren't as epic as was hyped, Suki showed some mad skills scaling those walls and swinging from balcony to balcony. o.o! I can't wait to watch this on DVD; it's gonna be great.

There's something interesting in the Ty Lee/Suki battle. The "Terra Team" were the most powerful elite squad defending Ba Sing Se, yet Ty Lee and Mai took them out. Yet by herself, she couldn't take one Kiyoshi Warrior? Besides, Ty Lee could beat Azula! Though it was a surprise. And, Ty Lee took out Katara in Ba Sing Se! Why is that? Could Suki beat Katara? Nope. Yet Ty Lee couldn't block her chi....interesting....Suki's style of fighting is much like Toph's: Wait, then attack. Thoughts?

Right, but it wasn't supposed to be, I don't think. The epic feeling was there, but not the epic fighting. I still like.

Anyway, lulz at animation mistakes! Sokka in WT outfit:

She could have come on the gondola after the prisoners arrived. I mean like after they took him out of the blimp they ferried him across with the other prisoners on the gondola. I mean Azula had to come for a reason I doubt she just came because she felt like it.

She may have heard from Mai that Zuko was captured, thus Azula assumed since Zuko left to join the Avatar, she might find Aang in the prison somewhere to.

Do you really think Mai would tell Azula? She just said she loves Zuko more than she fears Azula. Mai probably only wanted to talk to Zuko. Zuko would most likely get executed for helping Aang. I doubt she would tell Azula. The Firelord himself tried to kill Zuko after all.

Who said Mai told Azula? Maybe, whoever told Mai told Azula, too. On purpose or not.

How about we just don't worry about it, since she showed up and that's all that really matters?

Then Azula found it strange for Mai to be visiting the Boiling Rock. Azula's guess might have been it involving her brother, thus leading her to suspect Aang being there too. Remember, Aang is more important than Zuko, and I'm sure Azula still underestimates her brother... well, until now.
