    A new series would be awesome. I always liked the idea of focusing on the first Avatar and how the world reacted to it.

    and y'know, this thread is pointless. countless season 4 threads have been made, and for what? Bryke will move on. Of course the Avatar fandom will never die. But will YOU move on?

    The most high likely chance of a spinoff is a later Avatar brith, where the world is at peace, however the Air Nomads have vanished, so the next Avatar must learn Airbending, or find an Airbender.

    I think that before anyone creates a petition for more episodes of avatar, there should be a petition for avatar to air on nick.

    yes there is!!! tons of it, if they just clear out one of the reruns. they'll make time, just instead of reruns, new episodes of avatar!

    after sizzling summer, the mighty b will end or get shifted. then they could just finish off drake and josh with their episodes and make it take the time of mighty b. then take out all the reruns airing from 4-6, that's alot of them, but just take them out on days of new episodes, replacing them with a new episode!!

    I do not support a 4th season for mostly the reasons said. Avatar had always had a set end from the beginning. Not all of the details of the finale were known then, but they generally knew the big aspects of it such as Aang taking away Ozai's firepower. A 4th season would be a season of looking for something to fill up 20 episodes. Let a beautiful story end, or risk it wilting (*coughspongebobcough*). It's not that we are jerks, because we are not. Most of us just don't believe that a fourth season would do the trick. There are not that many questions that need answering, so what will the gaang be doing that would capture the audience? Now my money is riding on those minisode thing to answer any annoying questions.

    Even if a new season would be as awesome as the rest, a petition would not make that a reality. It all revolves around one thing: cold, hard cash. Unless you are waving a check in front of someone's face, there is going to be reluctance. So no matter how many signatures you recieve, there is absolutely no garentee of a fourth season. Especially since the creators themselves said no.

    If avatar keeps getting more and more new episodes, it'll go the way of pokemon. Dull and aimed for kids who can't count passed 20. If you compare episodes from the first season i.e. the lost episodes to the new episodes you'll see exactly what will happen to avatar.

    Oh yes, a spinoff would be quite lovely. I just believe that the gaang's adventure has ended. But I would sell my liver to see what they are like when they are older!
