    Um......I don't get it. All I was trying to say from the start that there could be a book 4 and it is a possiblity.

    No, it's not Bryke has confirmed there will be no Book 4 because there were always going to be 3 books ONLY. There is a small chance of a new series about a new Avatar, but that's all we can hope for at the moment.

    Unfortunatly, Bryke have proven again and again that they do not change their minds just to suit the fans. These are the guys who no doubt sat through two years of attacks by the Zutarians, but they still held strong and refused to alter the story from the perfection that is Kataang (sorry, couldn't resist).

    They have spoken, and they will not change their minds just to match our needs and wants.

    I feel the need to chime in for some reason. So, let's start:

    1 There won't be a Book 4. Bryke never planned to have one
    2 If there was one, it would suck. There's nothing that need resolving except Zuko's mom (which can be told in a couple of mini-sodes off tv)
    3 A spin-off would be more sucessful (Iroh anyone?)
    4 This thread is foolishness as everything I've just stated has been repeated throughout this forum for the longest time.

    I expect that those that this post was directed towards with be too stubborn and set in the train of thought to take my words into consideration.

    However, if that happens not to be the case then good for you.

    We are not being negative; we are being realistic. I have been through this with fans MANY times before. You all think that me and Axrendale and a couple others are so pessimistic because we can face the facts. In fact, we are beyond optimistic. I, for one, am EXCTREMELY excited about the new movies. I have been defending them for months. I have also convinced myself that a new series will be announced at the NYCC. I radiate optimism. There's a difference between being negative and being realistic.

    *sigh* Here we go again.

    Isabel and I love Avatar as much as the next avatards (if not a whole lot more). We want Avatar to continue, but we don't want it to continue with a 4th season featuring the gaang. We want new adventures, with new characters, in new places. The story of Aang and his firends (and enemies) was an epic journey like no other. But it must end if it is to preserve it's integrity.

    We do not want a season 4 in the sense of more adventures for the gaang. More Avatar? Bring it. But we respect the show to the point when we know it is time for one chapter to end, and a new one to begin.

    Spin-off FTW! Continuation - uh uh.

    We are not negative at all - we are just as, if not more, hopeful than you. The difference is that our hope is much more productive than yours, because our dreams have a chance of coming true
