Description: Very lean, almost to the point of being skinny. Wears Agni Kai gear at all times. Has a traditional ponytail styled hair. Speaks gruffly with a unique voice caused while perfecting his bending form. Has an eye patch over his left eye.
Notes:??Was born??into royalty being the grandson of two powerful admirals. His family was famous for possessing??exceptional firbending skills, yet??Salzo was feared to be breaking this trend with far far subpar abilities. They trained deseperateley to hone his skills but to no avail. For the family this brought about great dishonor. Yet, what they didn't know was??Salzo was hiding his true potential. In actuality he was a firebending prodigy that rivaled Azula. He was in fact proud of his abilities, but didn't want his parents to discover his skills because he hated to expectations expected of him to become a great admiral. He still trains but in secret, and is self taught in all his forms, including a dangerous skill he created that makes him literally untouchable. He was discovered training by Fire Lord Ozai himself and Ozai recruited him to join his special protection force. His parents discovered his abilities and that Salzo didn't want the future they had but then pleged alligance to protecting the Fire Lord.
Abilities: Can also bend blue fire like Azula. Can engulf parts of his body in flames for brief periods of time. Can also make the temperature??just above his??skin??him??high??degrees(when like this??no one can touch him without burning themselves).??Can melt rocks and metal with his fireblasts.
Notes: Can't maintain this heat without??negatively affecting his own body, which caused permante damage to his throat and the loss of his eye, which he attributed to an accident.

After reading Gantro's theories of the Dark Avatar, I thought that his character wouldn't mind having minions:

Name: The Generals
Tribe: Originally Fire Nation, now Shadow Empire
Info: The most powerful unit in the Fire Nation, the Generals hav powerful, if not, deadly techniques that each of them have, uncommon to most firebenders. although they serve under Fire Lord Ozai, they secretly await for the return of the Dark Avatar. When the seal on Sozen's comet was destroyed, the Dark Avatar, as well as its shadowbending, proceeds to engulf anyone in its path, turning them into mindless Shadowbenders. For the Generals, though, they maintain their freewill, but it cost their entire humanity, mutating them into monsters of their former selves. Nevertheless, they now serve loyalty to the powerful Dark Avatar.
Notes: They abandoned their firebending skills shortly after becoming shadowbenders.

Name: Okaeshi

Tribe: Fire Nation (banished - death penalty)

Profession: Before his banishment, he was part of Admiral Zhao's personal assassin team.?? Currently, he is teaching Aang to firebend.

Description: He is??5'11'', about 185 lbs, and has??very short (almost buzzcut)??black hair.?? He wears a black short sleeved shirt and black pants, and will occasionally wear his old Fire Nation plate armor.?? He also has a gold ring which??he never takes off (see the section on his ring below).

Personality: Generally a kind-hearted person with a light sense of humor.?? He tries to teach others that not all firebenders are ??evil??and manipulative?? But when it comes time to fight, he shows neither fear nor mercy.

Skills: He is highly trained in stealth and hand-to-hand combat.?? He is a skilled firebender, but rarely uses it (in the interest of staying hidden to his enemies).?? When he does choose to firebend, he can unleash??devastating attacks by using his emotional scars??to his advantage.?? He is also a fairly good archer, but??far away from the Yuu Yan Archers.

His Story:

Not long ago, on an assassination mission in a small Earth Kingdom town (the same town seen in "The Chase", only before it was destroyed), Okaeshi met a very beautiful Earth Kindom girl, and the both fell in love almost immediately.?? After learning who this girl was, he realized that his mission was aimed at her father.?? Okaeshi decided to abandon his mission and give a false report to Zhao that his mission was sucessful.?? Just before he left, the girl gave him a gold??ring and told him "Don't forget me."?? Okaeshi replied "I'll come back for you.?? I wont forget."?? He took the ring and left the town to return to Zhao.?? When Zhao learned that the report Okaeshi had sent him was fake, he ordered Okaeshi banished for treason and for the entire town to be destroyed.?? Okaeshi raced back to the small town, but when he got there, the entire place was in ruins.?? He went to his girlfriend's house, and saw her dead body lying on the floor.?? He whispered to her, almost crying,??"I came back for you.?? I didn't forget.?? I will never forget."?? At that moment, Okaeshi??promised himself??that he would have his revenge on the Fire Nation.?? He always wears??the ring that she gave him??as a reminder of his vow: "Never forget, never forgive."

???????? Where he comes in:?? We meet Okaeshi after the end of the episode "The Chase."?? Aang and his??friends find??Okaeshi just??outside of the town.?? Okaeshi recognizes Aang as the avatar who was rumored to have returned.?? He didn't believe his eyes.?? He made a deal with Aang: he would teach Aang to firebend if Aang would help him get his revenge against the Fire Nation.

Notes: in Japanese, Okaeshi means revenge

Name: The Dwellers
Description: The Dwellers wears white and grey garbs to represent their tribe, as well as their location. Also,they have either brown or white hair, depending on the environment. The tone of their skin also depends on their environment as well, from pale skin to tan brown. All of them have grey eyes, some of the blind. However, the??two??genders have distinctive traits; males tends to be as tall as 6'5, while females bore an "X" shape birthmark on their back.
Info: The Dwellers are the descendants of the surviving Air Nomads, a tribe that were thought to by systemetically wipeout from the Fire Nation. In reality, they were saved by Taro the Savior, leading them to a unknown cave, hidden from the world. Their, the Air Nomads decided to remain neutral in the war, changing their names to the Dwellers, as well as adopting a new system for the next generation. 100 years have pass, and while they have since repopulated, many, mainly the youths, have grown to resent Aang, blaming him for their current condition.
Abilities: Just like the Air Nomads, the Dwellers are capable of airbending, demonstrating new abilities that Aang himself hasn't learned.
Notes: The Nomad Assasins, as well as Despair and??"The Wanderer", comes from the Dwellers.

Name: Kanan the Love Spirit

Tribe: Spirit World
Description: He is pinkish with a white outline. He has short spikey hair. Has a bow and arrow.
Info: He is mischivous since he died and his love died alone. He appears in "Love-Struck" (my episode), and causes people to fall in love with the wrong person, or thing.?? He can go to the mortal world for one day each year.
Abilities: Shoots pink arrows for love. He can fly and use bubble shields.
Notes: He hates animals, (coughAppacoughandcoughMomocough), and loves putting people in love with rocks!
