What, this is back? Convenience!
Name: Tolvaj
Age: oh... 23? Neh.
Tribe: Former Earth Kingdom, current independent.
Description: Red fur vest (evidently made out of a rare animal), unnecessarily flashy medallion, black undershirt, light skin, very light brown hair cut into a short mohawk, green eyes, forearm guards terminating into heay bricks covering the knuckles (He claims one is made of iron and the other one is steel, but this is neither verified nor important.)
Info: Taken into slavery at a young age??when the Fire Nation attacked his town (ain't that always the way?) Tolvaj bought his freedom when he uncovered a sizable conspiracy to assassinate Ozai. Whatever institute within the fire nation that would deal with traitors and conspirateurs awarded him his Master's fortune and he was a recognized FN citizen, though he had no intention of staying. He smuggled himself back into the Earth Kingdom and sought out great fighters, using his wealth to pay for lessons. En route to one such man, he was waylaid by bandits and brutally injured two of them. The rest of the group, more impressed than angry, extended an invitation of partnership to him. Young, angry, and violent, Tolvaj took to banditry quick and assumed control of his group within the year. With an ever-increasing desire for power and control, Tolvaj expanded operations, constructed his own city ( Big Khazar)??and today (well, not today, but as of the present time of the story.) his group of thugs have become an elite group of smugglers, scavengers, spies and assassins, trading "everything to everyone" as he says. Tolvaj is an abrasive, often absurd person with a cynical outlook on people as a whole, though he ironically trusts his own underhanded cutthroat bandits in the utmost. He finds criminal actions the quickest, easiest, and funnest way to get things done, and seems completely aware of his various faults- but doesn't particularly care.
Abilities: Tol is an above-average hand to hand fighter whose style resembles western boxing, just to be different, but he relies more on the damage done by his forearm guards and dirty tricks than actual skill. Also carries around an unhealthy amount of explosives.
Notes: Often subconsciously sings an old song used by some fire nation slaves ("16 tons" is a good basis.) Has sided with Aang in the approaching conflict, intends to conquer the Fire Nation (and in his mind, get real respect from the world) during the vacuum presumably left by Ozai's death.
Wow... Whenever I have to write down everything instead of just mulling it over in my head, I'm amazed at how stupid it is. Tolvaj, in case anyone's interested (you're not) is Hungarian (my family originated in Hungary) for thief. According to the internet, anyway.
