    How come Aang didn't learn earth-bending while in omashu? He would be half way done by the time he got to the nortern tribe

    He didn't learn earth bending because he has to learn the different arts in order. So he has to learn water bending before earth bending. Did you see what happened to aang when he tried to learn firebending first. he ended up burning katara.

    What i want to know is is aang is an airbending master, then how come he doesn't know how to create a hurricane? This question might seem random and impossible but in the episode imprissoned, he said he wished he learned how to create hurricanes.

    And also how did ozai find out Iroh attacked the fire nation? I can't imagine anybody that saw Iroh attack those soldiers is still alive, because aang killed all the ones in the city. Only some of the navy ships escaped.

    There were 4 soldiers that were guarding the general (I KEEP FORGETTING HIS NAME AHHH!!!) that Iroh attacked, and they werent hit by the giant water sprit thing, but I assume they were captured by the Water tribe, but 1 might of got away and told the fire lord

    Why is Nickelodeon releasing the single DVD with just the first 4 chapters? Will they ever come out with the whole first season in a set?

    ah, what i think is that the dvd is Avatar's debut. this dvd only includes episodes one and two. it is 54 minutes long, it would have to be almost double to show the first four episodes. you will have better luch recording the episodes that you would buying the season dvd, (when it comes out) it makes it tons easier if you have tivo and a dvd recorder you can make your own dvd's (thats what i do) and you dont have to wait.

    Usually when they release DVD the company puts only a few episodes onto the disk that way the consumer will buy the next few episodes they do not possess. Yes, a box set for season one IS coming out eventually with lots of extra features. First the season on separate DVDs then the box set will be released.

    Do threads get deleted after no one has posted on them in a while? cuz i went all the way to the end to find a thread titled "Zuko Alone" it was an episode discussion thread but i couldn't find it..

    just a thought...what if the end war, aang and them round up everyone they met on their travels to defeat ozai?
