Hmm... this is just me nit-picking here...

How far north is the Northern water tribe situated? Is it at the North pole itself, or just in the general arctic ocean area?
On Earth, during winter, the further north you go, the days get shorter and the nights get longer. At the very North pole, darkness last fur a full six months - thus ruining the entire plot of the season finale
Unless, of course, things are entirely different in the Avatar's world.

Things are totally different in the Avatar world. The Moon's existence is tied to a fish. A FISH!!!

Out of question if the air temples are filled with all the air benders where do the air nomads who are not air benders live? Or are all air nomads air benders

On the Avatar map, you can see several white islands right above the Southern Water Tribe (or South Pole). One of these islands is, obviously, the Southern Air Temple. However, the other islands are, or were (we don't know if there's anybody still living there or not), home to non-bending air nomads.

I heard there was a teaser trailer for season two that showed an Earthbender as a new main character. Where can I find it?

OK, I feel kind of dumb asking this because I might be making something out of nothing, but this has been bothering me for a while.

In the Siege part 2, when Zuko and Aang are in that cave and Aang's about to get tied up, there is a shot that seems to linger for a moment on this image: Hosted by Putfile.com

Did anyone else notice that, or am I just being weird? (Right after this, Aang is shown talking to Roku again.)

I noticed it the very first time I watched it and thought, "Hmm, that was strange." But am I just being weird? I also noticed just today that the sleeves on Aang's and Zuko's tunics match except for a slight color difference.

Please discuss... or just tell me I'm weird.

That was NOT a teaser trailer and that was NOT for season two. It was a trailer for Avatar before it even aired. Some of the stuff on the trailer had alot of stuff that was not show in season one (or at least that I dont remember even though I have seen the episodes over and over again). But yeah I did see the Earthbender wearing green. I do not know if he is a main character but you can try and see it for yourself at nick.com and click on the sneak peak when you click on Avatar. Sorry I am too lazy to put a link for you. But I am sure someone elso will be willing to do it for you. *looks around*

WEll the thing about the sleeves I have noticed is pretty common in Air and Fire outfits (Iroh is an exeption). But whatever you are talking about with the thing that is bothering you I do not see. Try describing it.

I dunno-- you kind of have to see it in motion. They show Aang from the front and Zuko getting ready to tie him up, but then it turns to this shot of Zuko holding Aang's arms and it just kind of stays there for a second. Plus, Zuko doesn't have any rope in his hands here. Maybe it's just a visual device to segue into Aang talking with Roku...

I have the link in my topic "Show Trailer." I actually don't remember seeing any of the trailer in the show. The costumes are all different, and the things that occur never appeared in season one.

It doesn't add up from my point of veiw (still love the season finale to death beyond obsession)

    1) if the chief new perfectly well that haun was going to die then why did he send him as the leader of the assignment if he was engaged to his daughter, and Sokka actually had all the right information and he was left beind

I know that Sokka was to protect Yue, and Haun is a miliary leader but somethings don't add up...

    2) Aang usually gets tired or just a little disoriented after activating his avatar spirit right??? So why wasn't he winded when he used it in the Storm to pull them out of the water? (but then again he was usig air and not water)

haha so I'm answering my own questions, but this still doesn't add up, can someone just clear this for me so I can sleep again

    I noticed.

I think it was just to show the audience that Zuko probably remembered what Katara said and isn't technically touching Aang's hands. {So there isn't any way for Aang to return from the spirit world)

When Katara said Aang can't be moved, I think she meant that if anyone made any physical contact with Aang (skin to skin) then he would return back. Skin to clothing doesn't make him come back.

It does seem that you answered your own question for number 2. As for number one, I believe that he sent out Haun in hopes that he would be killed. The chief had a duty to his people, but he also wanted his daughter be happy. So if Huan dies, and it can't easily be lead to be his fault, than all the political problems of the engagement disappear, and Yue can marry Sokka which makes her happy. I hope that made sense.

I hadn't thought about that. Could be. Hey, maybe Zuko didn't want to get "spirit cooties!"

Good Theory! That could really be true(considering Aang cannot move much). I just don't think Aang can be disturbed at all while in the spirit world. And I have a question that may sound very stupid, but its about their names. Do you think Prince Zuko will ever call Sokka, Katara and Aang something other than Sokka being"Water tribe peasant" or Aang being "Avatar" or any other insults. Maybe at some piont call them by their real name. I would really like to hear Zuko say one of their names. (all of them in particular)

ROFL!!! i didnt interperate it like that, because Aang was moved, how to you think Zuko got Aang in the podition of riding on his back? that is confusing, but if you are right, that is pretty interseting... good find!

Heres a thought. Doesn't Aang ever get cold?? He never wore a coat in either of the Water Tribes (north and south) and he doesn't have a sleeping bag so he usually just sleeps on the ground, is it just me or is this one heck of a weather resistant kid. I would think that he would get cold sometimes don't you think??

They must smell by now. Why does Aang sleep on the ground. I mean Katara and Sokka get sleeping bags AND warm clothing and Aang just has his normal clothes. But then again theres APPA!!!
