You are right.?? My son and I watch every episode when it is broadcast, and the have only done the Season 1 finale once.?? Perhaps they will rebroadcast it during the 6-week dry spell before the big Avatar movie.?? One can only hope.

I don't think it is ever mentioned, but seeing as they refer to the bending of soil/rock as earthbending, my assumption was it's Earth - just not our Earth.

Yes and yes. Azula bends both lightning and blue fire. It can be assumed that Fire Lord Ozai can bend lightning as well. |
In Bitter Work, Iroh told Zuko that "only a select few firebenders" could separate the yin-yang energies properly. So, there you have it-- a few.
A thoughts??occured to me... does Zuko know that Azula is traveling with Mai and Ty-Lee.??So far he has only??met up with his sister in the first episode, and the eigth episode. So if you think about it. Ty-Lee could probably take away his bending too, then Azula could finish??him off. However, I think it may be one of those??situations where??Zuko is Azulas prey and her prey alone.??I hope they meet up again in the Avatar Movie.??In this case.... its never to early for another fight???? Actually I just??think that because Zuko said it would only be a matter of time before they met up again.????

Hmm .. if Zuko doesn't know about his sister's elite team (although since he was following her trail he may have guessed others are with her, but not who those people are, since he would have seen the tracks of those lizard-type things) then neither would Iroh. This would make them both vulnerable to the element of surprise when the membership of her team is revealed - right? Although, given Iroh's resourcefulness I'm not sure how much??such a surprise (Mai and Ty-Lee helping Azula that is) would really affect him.
Gosh, I really don't know. I mean I think Mai and Ty-Lee think the mission is to capture Iroh/Zuko/Aang, but I'm not sure they would be willing to go the extra mile that Azula would to bring them down. Sending her teammates off while she pursued the Avatar may have been a way to keep them from knowing what she is willing to do. I don't think she went running to Mai and Ty-Lee??telling them what went down after she caught up with Aang either - I take that back, I'm sure she said something to spin the situation so she didn't look bad.
All I can say is it should be an interesting scene/episode when they meet up (assuming they will).
A new episode comes out every Friday, right?

How big/long is this movie going to be?
And are they going to continue the series after that?
(1 month and a half is a long time for no more new episodes *sigh*)

It will be one-hour, essentially two episodes both of which are parts of the same plot stream played back-to-back.?? Calling it a "movie" seems a little too suggestive of other things to me, but whatever.?? It's a one-hour special.??
And as far as I know, future broadcast dates have not been announced.?? We rarely know for sure until 2-3 weeks ahead of time (seems to be the Tv-standard) unless there's some kind of pre-emptive announcement.??
