We don't know for sure, but I think he does still have them hidden away somewhere. I also think he didn't use them in The Chase because he wanted to keep this skill under wraps from??Azula??and he may have feared Azula could potentially link him to the Blue Spirit as Zhao did in Season 1.
He also seems to still be keeping this secret from Iroh as well, which I'm not sure I understand but I'm sure I will in the future.

well i think battling??his psycho sister who apart from being a fire-bending prodigy, also totally has it in for him, alongside four people he hardly trusts would fall under the heading of?? "him needing them"

| How did Zuko get so good at using dual blades anyways? It doesn't seem like anyone in his family uses them, so who would have taught him? |
Hmm. good question. Maybe he was self-taught and read books. Since there was an academy for girls (as Azula mentioned in Return to Omashu) I assume there would have been one for boys, perhaps a teacher (or friend) there instructed him.
I was watching the The Waterbending Scroll and I was wondering, is this the only time we see present day Zuko openly laugh? I know he laughed as a kid in Zuko Alone with his mom and maybe in a flashback in The Storm, but I can't recall another time where Zuko actually laughed - not smirked or smiled - laughed. You'd think he'd laugh more with Iroh around, but I guess that would blow his angst-ridden teen persona.??
Anyway, please let me know if there's another episode where we see the present day (in terms of Avatar that is)Prince enjoying some humor.

From what I hear it's two episodes smushed together and not a standalone movie, but I may be mis-remembering.

It will be one-hour, essentially two episodes both of which are parts of the same plot stream played back-to-back.?? Calling it a "movie" seems a little too suggestive of other things to me, but whatever.?? It's a one-hour special.?? And as far as I know, future broadcast dates have not been announced.?? We rarely know for sure until 2-3 weeks ahead of time (seems to be the Tv-standard) unless there's some kind of pre-emptive announcement.?? |
as far as i know, it will be the same format as Seige of the North was, which is 2 episodes back to back

All that we know is contained in the episode description.?? You can click on the "Episodes" tab above to get descriptions and air-date updates for seasons 1 and 2.?? (The movie is listed by its separate episdoe names, "he Library" and "The Desert.") Pooldude has been very good about updating the Season 2 episodes whenever he gets new information.
However, I'll save you the trouble for now.?? Here is the description:
A professor leads the kids to a spirit library in the middle of the desert, where Sokka hopes to discover powerful secrets to use against the Fire Nation. Aang searches for Appa, while Katara struggles to keep everyone together so they can survive in the vast desert. Meanwhile, Iroh and Zuko seek help from an ancient secret society.
