Okay then 
Once upon a time, in a magical land called 2005-07, the Avatar boards were a wonderful paradise. You'd see such wonderful people as Mellomuse, Slugg, and several others that time has robbed me of the memory of their names. My personal favorites were Sly and Trendy, the slandering, picture-editing, generally disagreeing duo. I preferred Trendy (no offense Sly, I know you come here every now and then still. Azula>Ty Lee during those times) because he was Azula's biggest fanboy, and Sly was Ty Lee's biggest fanboy, and Azula was at the time vastly better than Ty Lee. They were always at each other in the original Picture Thread (RIP) and although I don't think I saved any classics, there was a pic of Azula's head posted on a sumo wrestler, and one of The Hippo telling Sly to "Rub sexwax on me! NOW!" XD Trendy had a picture of himself with "property of Princess Azula" written on his forehead. Fun times. Then I made the agnai-kai thread (some of us spelled it that way back then), where Sly and Trendy had a pretty sweet fight. Then I beat Sly too, and someone drew a picture of it So it became an arena of combat for a while. Trendy eventually left because Avatar was taking up too much of his time, and if he visited at all he would get sucked back in again. I took (extremely short) temporary replacement for him as Sly's basher/bashee, but of course I never lived up to Trendy. Owing mostly to a love of Zuko rather than his sister I suspect, seeing as how I'm physically incapable of fanboying. I was banned, and Sly left for the most part after (I think, I was only lurking on and off around then) the S2 finale. My only other accomplishment was establishing the Pants Game on the avatar forum.
There were so few noobs back then. We almost all knew each other, everyone was a regular more or less. We had huge discussions all the time, and most weren't shipping wars. Seriously, thanks to this forum I found a use for History class. There were great theories. The Dark Avatar Theory was a favorite of mine. The topic is still out there, but I can't find the link and I'd never do it justice trying to remember it. I believe the Colonel was there about that time, too. The name George was invented during my time lurking. Pooldude was mostly considered a respectable guy in a reasonable way, but without humongous leaks nobody really noticed whatever work he was getting done XD Did I mention no ship wars? Seriously. Oh, and NO LEAKS. The U.S. got everything at a mostly reasonable time, and first. Commercials actually aired, as did the show. I really miss that.
It was, by and large, the fault of the S2-S3 hiatus we are no longer that utopia. And we thought it was painful waiting for Secret of the Fire Nation... we really had no idea what was coming >_>
I could come up with more, but I'm tired and there's a school field trip to Philadelphia tomorrow. It'd be great except we have to be at school by 5:45 AM x_X So be glad a what you got, young'uns, before it gets even worse'n this! *hobbles out on walking stick*
