    Myself and another poster were modded for quoting Avatar but I'm sure the mod didn't understand why the quotes were significant but only took them at face value.

    One forum member said of the thread author: "You're insane aren't you?"

    He was quoting Aang's words to the herbalist in 'The Blue Spirit.'

    And I posted right after him saying, clearly quoting the herbalist: "That's rrriiiggghhhttt."

    We we're saying it tongue in cheek to the author of the thread but it was funny because it was Avatar. Apparently the mods didn't concur.

    Take it from the Mother of the Avatar Boards: The mods have turned this Avatar forum from a place to chat and joke and correct grammar to a straight-up killing fieldz. SalFishFin, carmellina, Atu_1, Sgt. Hydra, and Nalesnik were all victims.

    Why is all of this suddenly becoming an issue now? I've been on the boards for over a year now; we've all done these things at one point or another with no consequences; why is all of this suddenly wrong? Is the site under new management now or something or are more things getting reported by *sensitive* users?

    I think with all of the Nick bashing that is imminent the mods think we're going to get out of hand or get worked up too much. Or maybe there are younger, more senstive people finding their way onto these forums and taking things SUPER CEREAL!!
