It's a spoilers allowed thread... and no one here seemed to acknowledge the fact that Teletoon, TDA's original channel also had votes.

And I think it's awesome that my cable company added Teletoon the day before the aftermath 4 aired.

So Duncan wins. I would have put money on Beth. And it goes without saying that her boyfriend and everything she said about him are real, right?

Actually I wouldn't know because I only get the french version of Teletoon and it's airing now.

Brady makes an appearance at the end...and the women think he's better looking than Justin...

For all we know, Beth could win the American version. *shrugs* Since apparantly there's an alternate ending. And like someone said, Harold could be the deciding vote.

I've seen the ending where Beth wins... it sucks, Brady runs in and hugs her as soon as she wins, leaving anyone who hasn't seen Duncan's version to wonder who he is, there is no explanation whatsoever as of whom Brady is. At least I love the part where Duncan and Courtney walk off together.

Just finished watching the finale and while it was annoying that Geoff and Bridgette just went back to kissing and disappeared at the end I loved how Courtney was left out of her question and that Beth wasn't such a protagonist and that Duncan won the American version of Total Drama Action.

Called it. I mean, since the writers literally left it up to the viewers to decide, it was a given that Beth was going to lose. Not that I wanted her to win either way, since the character is a total Purity Sue (though tonights episode showed some of her darkside.)

I liked both Beth and Duncan, so I didn't care who won. But I am really glad that they showed Brady (Beth's boyfriend)! I was so happy that they showed Brady at the end!

I KNEW IT! I'm happy!

And alternate ending or not, Duncan is still the winner.

Wonder how Hayden is handling this...

I wish Brady were a contestant on the show... (Dang, I'm obsessing over Brady.)

I'm a little disappointed, but I know that neither of them will make it far in TDM if they're in at all, so I'm okay. And I like Duncan, a lot, he's one of my favorites still... it's not too bad, really. He is a great character at the end of the day, even if she deserved it more.

Good parts about the episode:
1) Brady was real
2) The object-fitting 'challenge' was awesome
3) Chris did mention that third season
4) Courtney's question was cut off
5) Harold's drawing contest was hilarious
6) They actually let Noah speak
7) All the allusions to Survivor's finales

Bad parts about the episode:
1) Too many commercials, one more than a regular episode
2) Owen turned into a walking PSA for health food (uggggh)
3) Duncan and Courtney are semi-back together
4) No dirt even on a special to lead up to TDM or anything like that
5) Heather's out-of-character Azula-like craziness
6) That Duncan won BECAUSE people decided on it, not because it would be better for the story
7) Overall, it just felt kind of rushed, especially nearing the end of the questions
