    I don't think Spongebob is gay. He is just a cartoon, and in the first episode when he met Sandy, I could see he had a little crush on her. And hello, IT'S ON NICKELODION!!! Nick is for kids. So if spongebob was gay, I really don't think it would be on Nick. I would say Squidward acts more gay then Spongebob. So earth to people who think spongebob is gay, if you don't like him and think he's gay then don't even watch it.

    i thought he was gay, but decided he was just funny instead, and weird

    anyways, when he was wearing Mr. Krabs old #1 hat and he wanted it back, so Mr. Krabs told SpongeBob he looked like a girl. SpongeBob asks: am i a pretty girl?? that's where i draw the line, even though it was hilarious!

    What are you talking about...you obviously took that out of context...it was dry sarcasm...he said you look like a girl and his reply was am I a pretty girl?....nothing at all gay about that its very light sarcasm..

    SpongeBob is definitly NOT GAY! If he was gay, then he wouldn't even be on Nickelodeon. The only reason why people are calling him gay is because he has eyelashes. Well, guess what? Boys have eyelashes too!

    Have you seen the one show were pearl put a flowery outfit on spongebob and they made up that guy name for the crusty crab? YES HE IS GUY! That ends the question...
