    spongebob aint gay but when you look at it the whole cartoon has a lot of hidden adult themes =P maybe it was origionally inteded for older viewers, much like ren and stimpy

    I agree, some show do that for Adults to laugh too, and little kids dont understand it yet. It's kinda funny, they do like birth and stuff, also Rocko and Ren and Stimpy.

    I don't think he's gay I think he's just naive and an idiot. Besides, he has a crush on Sandy in the first few episodes, and in the third season, IT WAS ALL FOR HUMOR!!! Besides, even if he was gay who the heck cares?! I still like the character and I love the show! There are people who say I'm too old to be watching SpongeBob just because I'm 13, but of course, they are just idiots! I'm SICK of people making fun of this show, and people accusing it for things it's not. SPONGEBOB IS INNOCENT!!!

    Omg! Guess what i just realised!!! its a cartoon!!!! pictures moving on the screen!! does it matter whether or not it may look gay shouldnt you all be worrying about REAL people are gay or not before a cartoon =

    Look,SpongeBob is'nt one of those shows where he teaches kids gay stuff unlike Barney Tweenies Bob the Builder and Teletubbies and he does'nt like Squidward in that he loves him which he does'nt there just friends come to think of it SpongeBob is'nt in love with anybody.

    Hmm yeah and there's a book where SpongeBob is gonna give Sandy a valentine(read it on one of the threads)so he kinda does have a crush on Sandy.
