    I don't think Spongebob is gay. However, there are circumstances that suggest he is. Plus, I don't think his sexuality really affects the show...but that's just me.

    Ain't it obvious? Spongebob isn't gay! The show had all those gags going on because they wanted to get a reaction from the audience and maybe they wanted to wind up the guy who started the whole rumour.

    No, Spongebob isn't gay! Some people think they are cool hating on Spongebob "OMG! I grew out of the gay sponge ages ago" but in reality, they are quite gullible because they are believing an inaccurate source coming randomly from a guy's mouth!

    I think the people who say that Spongebob is childish need to grow up and just accept that some people actually like the show, like myself!

    Yeah, and besides cartoon characters dont need to have sexuality, especially in a goofy one like this. And people just say he's gay just to be cool

    I'm kind of sick of people bashing this show and spongebob. Some just go crazy making up lies and rumors and even write hate stories. But the one thing they're forgetting is not everyone loves the show.

    Well I dont know how anyone could hate this show. Its fun and its not like all the other shows on nick (which are all about teens, drama, serious stuff.) And if they dont like this show its stupid how they even know he's gay.

    Count me in. I'm not against Spongebob haters because everyone does have a reason for hating it (even if sometimes they're not plausible.) But hating him just because other people calls him gay is not a good reason for hating Spongebob.

    I could care less if he was gay. Whats the big deal? if people in real life can accept that other people are gay, then why cant they do the same for an animated character? besides there are actually anime characters that are gay, but people still love them no less.

    Well its pretty stupid considering some of them dont even watch the series a lot. If they hate Spongebob thats fine, but they have no proof that he's gay (unless they've watched the whole series.)
