Spongebob does not send subliminal messages. Whoever wrote that believes just as many things as that James Dobson guy.

    I agree, thats the only time he sended subliminal messages. I bet that parent hasn't seen the whole seasons anyways. Season 1 was kid-friendly up until Season 3

    But it's been said on the news that he isn't gay and there's been interviews with Tom Kenny and Stephen Hillenburg. Maybe the reviewer's just says that stuff because he's tired of all the Spongebob mania!

    Ps: Dont worry because most of the episodes dont contain that kind of crap he's talking about anyways.

    Homer Simpson acts gay at times but he isn't gay. Many cartoons play humor dressing as the opposite sex for laughs. So what made spongebob do controversial? Stupidity. Obvious. And then that "We are family" video which is also related to stupidity. THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THE VIDEO put spongebob in the gay support video. Not teh creator or spongebob himself.

    I think it's stupid that people actually believe Spongebob's gay just because of what some people say and not the creator. I read some of reviews on here and that's why they give this show a low rating.

    I think he's being ridiculous. If he wont even let his son watch Spongebob then he's not going to let them watch Fairly OddParents or Looney Tunes anymore, right? because those two shows have some adult jokes too, which is why they're for everyone.

    Yeah, they had characters like bugs bunny crossdress in shows from the 40's, and back then, wearing a bikini at a beach was considered porn and you could get arrested for that. So why do people now say he's gay when people back then in the strict era din't think these cartoon characters were.

    Seems like still even today people dont mind their kids watching it. Looney Tunes maybe a classic, but that didn't mean it didn't have some adult humor or stuff people might consider gay either.
